McCormick made his season debut Monday and has been reassigned to the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) on Wednesday. The 31-year-old returns to captain the Coachella Valley team where he had eight goals, 17 points and 11 PIMs in 16 games played prior to his original call up to Seattle.
McCormick will make his season debut after being recalled from Coachella Valley Firebirds of the AHL on Friday. The 31-year-old McCormick has 17 points (8G / 9A) in 16 games with the Firebirds this season and is expected to play on the fourth line with Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Kailer Yamamoto.
McCormick has been recalled from Coachella Valley Firebirds of the AHL, with Andrew Poturalski being sent down in a corresponding move. The 31-year-old McCormick has 17 points (8G / 9A) in 16 games with the Firebirds this season.
McCormick had 18 goals, 24 assists, 36 PIMs and a +18 plus/minus through 38 games with Coachella Valley (AHL) as their captain but has been recalled to Seattle for the first time this season. The 30-year-old has played in 93 career NHL games previously, with eight goals, five assists, 102 SOG and 97 PIMs.
McCormick was a healthy scratch on Monday but will replace Morgan Geekie (upper-body) in the lineup on Wednesday. McCormick has no points in eight games this season.
McCormick suffered an upper-body injury early in Saturday's win over the Stars and will come out of the lineup for Sunday's rematch. With McCormick coming out, Drew Shore will make his season debut.
McCormick had one goal in 14 games with the Senators last year and 20 points (9G / 11A) in 45 AHL games in Belleville and Colorado. McCormick will likely start 2020 in the AHL but will be one of the first players called up to fill a bottom-6 role in Carolina.
McCormick, 26, has 12 points (7G / 5A) in 20 games with Belleville (AHL) this season and 10 points (6G / 4A) in 71 career NHL games with the Ottawa Senators. McCormick will report to the Colorado Eagles (AHL).
McCormick has been out since the Senators season opener but will play tonight in Colorado. McCormick has just nine points (5G / 4A) in 58 career games with the Senators.
McCormick was a healthy scratch in Toronto on Saturday, but will return tonight in Pittsburgh. McCormick will replace Fredrik Claesson in the lineup as the Senators go back to 12 forwards and six defensemen. McCormick has just one goal in five games while averaging just 5:47 TOI with the Senators.
McCormick has no points in three games with the Senators this season. The 25-year-old will draw back in the lineup tonight after picking up 25 points (7G / 18A) in 46 contests with Binghamton this season.
McCormick was recalled prior to Monday’s contest but was held out of the lineup as a healthy scratch. It could have been a cap move to send him down and he could be “recalled” prior to Thursday’s game vs. the Red Wings.
The Senators had the weekend off so they sent McCormick down for salary savings but have recalled him for Monday’s game vs. Montreal. The 25-year-old has no points in two NHL games but has picked up one goal and two assists (three points) in seven AHL contests.

McCormick spent most of last season in Binghamton (AHL), but after inking a one-way deal could find himself in Ottawa to start the 2017-18 season. McCormick has 21 goals and 15 assists (36 points) in 66 AHL games and failed to record a point in seven NHL games.
