The veteran was not on the bench to start the second and the team announced Seabrook would not return with an "upper-body" injury. Seabrook has missed time on three separate occasions during his Hawks career with concussions.

Bad news for the Blackhawks, who were just getting used to their minute-eating defenseman staying in the lineup. Seabrook could be out with a concussion which would keep him out for at least a week.

Defenseman Brent Seabrook missed practice and is "possible" to play against the Ducks on Friday afternoon in the first of back-to-back games to close out the Hawks' six-game road trip.

Seabrook has already missed the past four games and remains a question mark for tonight's tilt. Expect to find out his status during warmups.

Seabrook is a game-time decision.

Seabrook practiced with the team yesterday and by all reports sounded back to 100 percent. However, he did not skate today which creates speculation on his status. Considering most rosters freeze at 7PM EST, you might want to keep Seabrook benched tonight.

Seabrook is doubtful for tomorrow's game. He's out tonight. Look for him to return in Calif. #Blackhawks

Not great news for Seabrook owners and the Blackhawks as he probably misses three consecutive games. The team's second-most important defender was replaced by Nick Leddy at even strength and Sami Lepisto on the power play.
