Perbix was a sixth-round pick in 2017 and signed his entry-level contract with the Lightning following his fourth year at St. Cloud State. The 23-year-old defenseman had 31 points (6G / 25A) in 31 games with St. Cloud State and had one assist in four games with Team USA at the Olympics.
McDonagh suffered an injury in Boston on Thursday and will not be available Saturday in Detroit. McDonagh is expected to miss some time.
Paul is a strong two-way forward, who will help the Lightning third line but won't provide a lot of offence. Paul has scored 11 goals and seven assists (18 points) in 59 games this season. Look for him to start on a line with Ross Colton and Brandon Hagel.
Hagel was not on the ice for the morning skate but will make his Lightning debut on Saturday, one day after being acquired from Chicago. Hagel, who has 21 goals and 16 assists (37 points) in 55 games, will start on a line with Ross Colton and Mathieu Joseph.

Girgensons has been sidelined by an undisclosed injury since January 25th but is set to play Thursday in Edmonton. Girgensons has scored seven goals with five assists (12 points) in 34 games this season.
