Karlsson is expected to make his playoff debut on Sunday for Game 3 in Edmonton.

With Phil Di Giuseppe missing Game 3 due to personal reasons, Linus Karlsson is expected to make his playoff debut on Sunday in Edmonton. The 24-year-old only played in four games for the Canucks during the regular season but appeared in 60 games for Abbotsford (AHL) and had 23 goals and 60 points.

Aman appeared in 43 games during the regular season for Vancouver but has yet to make an appearance in the playoffs and is expected to make his postseason debut on Sunday in Edmonton. The 24-year-old finished his second career NHL season with three goals, seven points, 28 SOG, eight PIMs and a -3 plus/minus while averaging 10:20 TOI/GP through his 43 games played.

Chytil (illness) is out for Game 4 on Saturday vs. Carolina.

Chytil returned for the first time since November 2nd for Game 3 after missing months due to a concussion but will be out for Game 4 on Saturday after missing the morning skate due to illness. The 24-year-old missed 72 regular season games due to his concussion but had six assists, 22 SOG and four PIMs in the 10 games he did appear in. He will be replaced by Jonny Brodzinski.

Chytil (illness) missed the Rangers' morning skate and is expected to be a game-time decision for Game 3.

Chytil returned for the first time since November 2nd for Game 3 after missing months due to a concussion but is now a game-time decision for Game 4 on Saturday after missing the morning skate due to illness. The 24-year-old missed 72 regular season games due to his concussion but had six assists, 22 SOG and four PIMs in the 10 games he did appear in.

Chytil (head) is on the ice for warmups and is expected to play in Game 3.

Chytil will play for the first time since November 2nd. He previously attempted a comeback in late January but suffered a setback. He's now been skating with the team for nearly four weeks and will replace Matt Rempe in the Rangers' bottom-6 for Game 3. In the last two seasons combined, Chytil has posted 51 points (22G / 29A) in 84 games.

Pettersson (illness) was a full participant in the morning skate and will suit up for Game 1.

Pettersson missed Tuesday's team practice due to illness but was a full participant in Wednesday's optional team skate and is expected to suit up for Game 1 in Edmonton. The 25-year-old superstar has struggled so far through six games in the playoffs, with just three assists, eight SOG and a -2 plus/minus.

Pettersson was not present at Vancouver's practice on Tuesday due to an illness and is hopeful to be good to go for Game 1 on Wednesday vs. Edmonton. The 25-year-old superstar struggled in Vancouver's opening-round victory over Nashville, with only three assists, eight SOG and a -2 plus/minus in six games played.

Chicago has signed Lukas Reichel to a two-year, $2.4 million contract ($1,200,000 AAV).

Reichel just finished his second season in Chicago and had six goals, 16 points, 84 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -29 plus/minus in 65 games played and signed a two-year, $2.4 million contract ($1,200,000 AAV) on Tuesday. The 21-year-old was Chicago's 2020 first-round pick (17th overall) and has 32 points (12G/20A) in his first 99 career games played in the NHL.

Demko (undisclosed) is expected to be out through at least Game 4 of Vancouver's second-round series.

Demko has been out since Vancouver's opening game of the playoffs and is expected to remain out until at least Game 4 of the Canucks' second series vs. Edmonton. The 28-year-old will be highly welcomed back if he can return after going 35-14-2 during the regular season and having a 2.45 GAA and .918 SV%.

Chytil (concussion) is traveling with New York on their road trip to Washington and has a possibility to return.

Chytil suffered a setback in his initial attempt to return from an upper-body injury in late January after going down at practice. He missed the entirety of the 2023-24 regular season but appears to be nearing a return in the playoffs. Chytil was a major component of the Rangers offence, scoring 22 goals and 45 points as a 23-year-old in 2022-23.

Demko (undisclosed) will not be available for Game 2 and is questionable for the remainder of the series.

Demko missed 14 games toward the end of the regular season due to a knee injury before returning for the final two games heading into the playoffs. He was solid in a 4-2 game-one victory over the Nashville Predators on Sunday, saving 20 of 22 shots (.909 SV%) but will be sidelined for game two and possibly beyond with an undisclosed injury. It is unclear if this injury is related to his previous ailment.

Forbort (undisclosed) will travel to Toronto but likely won't play in Game 3.

Forbort has not played an NHL game since March 2nd but appears to be nearing a return despite likely being ruled out for game three. The 32-year-old Forbort was limited to only 35 games with Boston this season, registering four points (0G / 4A), 66 hits, and 65 blocks.

Kane (sports hernia) will play in Game 1 against the Kings.

Kane revealed on Sunday that he's been dealing with a sports hernia this season and they decided it was best to rest him for the final three games of the regular season. Kane skated on the fourth line in Sunday's practice, so expect him to play a minimal role to begin the series vs. Los Angeles.
