Silovs will start Game 5 against the Predators on Tuesday.

With Casey DeSmith and Thatcher Demko both unavailable due to injury, Silvos was thrusted into action in Game 4 on Sunday and performed admirably. He stopped 27 of the 30 shots he faced and, thanks to a dramatic hat-trick from Brock Boeser, was able to see Vancouver through to a 4-3 victory in overtime. Silovs and the Canucks enter tonight's action as -120 favourites with a chance to eliminate the Predators.

Demko (undisclosed) will not be available for Game 2 and is questionable for the remainder of the series.

Demko missed 14 games toward the end of the regular season due to a knee injury before returning for the final two games heading into the playoffs. He was solid in a 4-2 game-one victory over the Nashville Predators on Sunday, saving 20 of 22 shots (.909 SV%) but will be sidelined for game two and possibly beyond with an undisclosed injury. It is unclear if this injury is related to his previous ailment.

Forbort (undisclosed) will travel to Toronto but likely won't play in Game 3.

Forbort has not played an NHL game since March 2nd but appears to be nearing a return despite likely being ruled out for game three. The 32-year-old Forbort was limited to only 35 games with Boston this season, registering four points (0G / 4A), 66 hits, and 65 blocks.

Filip Hronek
Miller (rest) will sit on Thursday vs. Winnipeg.

Phil Di Giuseppe will draw into the lineup in favour of Miller, who will have the night off in the Canucks final game before the playoffs. Miller ends the 2023-24 campaign with another tremendous campaign, scoring a career-high 103 points (37G / 66A) in 81 games.
