Pettersson remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury and will miss his second straight game on Tuesday. Head coach Bruce Boudreau said Pettersson's injury is not a long-term issue and they hope he'll be able to play on Thursday.

Wolanin will take Andreas Athanasiou's spot on the roster after Athanasiou was moved to IR with an undisclosed injury. Wolanin has 11 assists in 24 AHL games this season.

Blueger has been sidelined since January 23rd but was a full participant in Monday's practice and will be a game-time decision vs. the Panthers. Blueger will provide a huge boost to the Penguins' bottom-6, replacing Brian Boyle on the fourth line.

Desharnais was drafted in the seventh-round in 2016 and is in his third season with Bakersfield (AHL). The 25-year-old defenseman has scored five goals with 13 assists (18 points) in 43 AHL games this season.

Lankinen has not played since January 22nd due to a hand injury but will be available for one of the Blackhawks' games this weekend. Originally, the Blackhawks said that he would start Sunday but have back-tracked and haven't decided who will start Friday and who will start Sunday.
