Thatcher Demko was the first goalie off the ice at Vancouver's morning skate.

Demko will likely start for the second consecutive game on Tuesday when the Canucks face off against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Demko is coming off a 24-save (.875 SV%) performance in a 4-3 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes, his third straight sub- .880 SV% outing. Dating back to mid-November, Demko has a subpar .887 SV% in his last 11 games (6-5-0). The Canucks are -124 home favourites against the Lightning, who have won three of their last four (3-1-0).

Pierre-Olivier Joseph (lower body) is available Tuesday vs. Arizona and expected to draw into the lineup.

Joseph has not played since November 4th, recovering from a lower-body injury, and has only played five total games this season. During a conditioning stint with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Joseph scored one point (0G / 1A) in two games. He will draw into the Penguins lineup Tuesday for Ryan Shea.

Derek Forbort (undisclosed) has been placed on the Long-Term Injured Reserve.

Forbort would first be eligible to return on December 31st when the Bruins visit the Detroit Red Wings as the veteran defenceman nurses an undisclosed injury. Forbort has primarily played this season skating alongside Kevin Shattenkirk. Mason Lohrei has been recalled from the Providence Bruins of the AHL in the interim.

Lukas Reichel is expected to draw back into the Blackhawks' lineup Tuesday vs. Nashville.

Reichel was a healthy scratch in the Blackhawks' 4-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Sunday but will return to the lineup to skate on a line with Ryan Donato and Mackenzie Entwistle. The 17th overall pick of the Blackhawks in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft has struggled to find his footing this season, scoring only six points (2G / 4A) and registering a -17 plus/minus through 22 games.

Pierre-Olivier Joseph (lower body) has been reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) for conditioning purposes.

Joseph has not played since November 4th, recovering from a lower-body injury, and has only played five total games this season. As a result, he has been reassigned to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the AHL for a conditioning stint and will presumably be recalled in the near future.

Pierre-Olivier Joseph (lower body) was in a normal practice jersey at Wednesday's team skate.

Joseph has not played since November 4th due to a lower-body injury but appears to be on the verge of a return to the lineup after being a full participant at the Penguins' practice on Wednesday. Before his injury, Joseph had one point (0G / 1A) in five games, averaging 13:05 time-on-ice, playing predominantly with Chad Ruhwedel on the Penguins' third defensive pairing.
