





Smith was not on the ice for the Golden Knights morning skate and head coach Pete DeBoer has ruled him out for a second straight game. With Smith out on Monday, Alex Tuch moved into the top-6 and Mattias Janmark saw additional power-play time.



Smith was forced to leave Sunday's game in Anaheim with an undisclosed injury and he's questionable to play Monday vs. the Sharks. With Keegan Kolesar battling a lower-body injury, expect Dylan Coghlan to dress as a seventh-defenseman if Smith can't play.

Kolesar remains day-to-day with a lower-body injury and will not play Monday vs. the Sharks. With Kolesar still out, Tomas Jurco will remain in the Golden Knights' bottom-6.


Laczynski played in his first three NHL games over the last week but will come out of the lineup on Saturday. Carsen Twarynski has been promoted to the active roster and will replace him in the Flyers' bottom-6.




Samsonov was not on the ice for Thursday's morning skate and the Capitals have listed him as day-to-day with an upper-body injury. If Samsonov is unavailable for Thursday's game, look for Vitek Vanecek to start and Craig Anderson to backup.

Eichel suffered a neck injury on May 7th and is expected to need surgery to repair a herniated disc. According to the Sabres, Eichel is expected to be healthy and ready to play at the beginning of the 2021-22 season.
