Backstrom (lower-body) will play Tuesday vs. the Bruins.

Backstrom missed Saturday's game vs. the Flyers but will play tonight vs. the Bruins. This game doesn't matter for Washington but they will not give the veteran another night of rest. Since the start of April, Backstrom has two goals with 14 assists (16 points) in 19 games.

Ovechkin has missed the last three games but was on the ice for Monday's practice and will be a game-time decision on Tuesday. The Capitals' are locked into second place in the East, so Tuesday's game does not matter. It will be interesting to see if Ovechkin draws in to get back up to speed or not.

Wilson suffered an upper-body injury in Wednesday's game in New York and did not return. He was on the ice for Friday's morning skate and will play tonight vs. Philadelphia. Wilson, who has two goals and three assists in his last six games, will skate on the third line with Michael Raffl and Daniel Carr.

Carlson (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Monday.

Carlson has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but seems on track to return to the lineup on Monday. Carlson is officially listed as a game-time decision, so monitor his status as the Capitals hit the ice for warmups at 6:30 PM ET.

Carlson was not on the ice for the morning skate and is officially listed as a game-time decision for Wednesday's game vs. the Penguins. Carlson has been held without a point in four straight games but is third among defensemen with 42 points (10G / 32A) in 49 games.
