Gabriel Vilardi (sprained MCL) practiced Tuesday but is not expected to return vs. Dallas.

Vilardi has not played since October 17th due to a sprained MCL but appears to be nearing his return as he participated in practice on Tuesday. Cole Perfetti has been the main benefactor of Vilardi's injury, replacing him on the top powerplay unit. It is unclear if Vilardi will retake his spot on the powerplay, but if he does, it will likely have a great impact on Perfetti's production, as he has scored 16 points (7G / 9A) in the 17 games Vilardi has not been in the lineup.

Eric Comrie will start Saturday vs. New Jersey.

Comrie will take the crease for the first time in four games as he takes on New Jersey on the road Saturday. The 28-year-old has struggled as Buffalo's third goaltender this season, with his 1-2-0 record, 2.62 GAA, and .898 SV%. He will take on the New Jersey Devils, who are trying to right the ship after three straight loses and are 12th in the NHL in goals per game.

Hellebuyck will start in Florida on Friday.

Hellebuyck is coming off a stellar performance, saving 31 of 33 shots (.939 SV%) in a 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday. After a shaky start to the season, in which Hellebuyck posted a .890 SV% in nine games (5-3-0), he has looked more like himself recently with a .918 SV% in his last five games (4-1-0). The Jets will have their hands full on Friday as +124 road underdogs against a Florida Panthers team that is second in the Atlantic division and is 7-2-0 in their last nine games.

Hellebuyck will start in Tampa Bay on Wednesday.

The Jets have won six of their last seven (6-1-0) due largely to Hellebuyck elevating his game recently. Still a far cry from his career-average .916 SV%, Hellebuyck has a .906 SV% in his last five games (4-1-0) after posting only a .891 SV% in his first eight contests this season (4-3-1). The Jets are slight -109 road favourites on Wednesday against a Tampa Bay Lightning team that, despite winning three straight, has allowed four or more goals in six consecutive contests (3-3-0).

Jaret Anderson-Dolan will draw back into the Kings' lineup on Monday vs. Arizona.

Anderson-Dolan will draw back into the lineup on Monday as Blake Lizotte will miss the next 7-10 days with an undisclosed injury. Anderson-Dolan has been held pointless in two games with the Kings this season while averaging 8:21 time-on-ice. The 24-year-old is expected to replace Lizotte on the fourth line with Trevor Lewis and Carl Grundstrom.

Walker Duehr will draw back into the Flames' lineup Monday in Seattle.

Duehr will enter the Flames' lineup on Monday as Adam Ruzicka will be a healthy scratch. He last played on November 7th and will likely skate on the Flames' fourth line alongside A.J. Greer and Dillon Dube. Duehr has four points (1G / 3A) in 12 games with the Flames this season.

Eric Comrie will start Friday vs. Buffalo.

Comrie has not played since October 27 after suffering a lower-body injury but will be available to play on Friday. Before his injury, Comrie played well, posting a 2.45 GAA and .914 SV% in three games (1-1-0). The Sabres have leaned heavily on the tandem of Devon Levi and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in his absence but the Sabres will give Comrie the opportunity to immediately rediscover some of his early season pedigree as the starting goalie against the Winnipeg Jets.

Connor Hellebuyck will start Friday vs. Buffalo.

Hellebuyck will start for the Jets on Friday, the front end of a back-to-back, likely serving as the backup to Laurent Brossoit on Saturday. As expected, Hellebuyck has been a workhorse for the Jets thus far, starting 12 of 15 games, but his performance has been somewhat out of character. Despite a strong 7-4-1 record, Hellebuyck is sporting a career-low GAA (2.99) and SV% (.892) but seems to be inching his way back on track, posting a .906 SV% in his last three contests (2-1-0). The Jets, who have won four of their last five (4-1-0), have a favourable matchup on Friday as -178 home favourites against a Buffalo Sabres team that has been outscored 9-2 in their last two games (0-2-0) and will be without elite goal-scorer Tage Thompson.
