Bemstrom has been recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) on an emergency basis.

Bemstrom has appeared in 13 NHL games this season for the Penguins, posting just one assist. During his time with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, he is tied for the team-lead in goals (21) and third in points (46). Bemstrom could draw into the Penguins lineup on Friday with Rutger McGroarty getting injured on Tuesday.

Nugent-Hopkins (illness) will not play against the Blues on Wednesday.

Nugent-Hopkins is battling an illness and will not play on Wednesday against the St. Louis Blues. Already without Connor McDavid (undisclosed) and Leon Draisaitl (undisclosed), the Oilers will be without arguably their top three offensive contributors. The 31-year-old Nugent-Hopkins has 49 points (20G / 29A) in 76 games this season.

Binnington will start in Edmonton on Wednesday.

The Blues' 12-game winning streak ended in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets, but they will try to return to the win column on Wednesday with Binnington tending the twine against the Edmonton Oilers. Binnington allowed four goals on 39 shots (.897 SV%) in his most recent outing but received ample goal support and secured a 5-4 victory over the Colorado Avalanche. The 31-year-old netminder has a 2.69 GAA and .902 SV% in 53 games this season (27-21-4). Husso will start against the Flames on Wednesday.

Stolarz will get the nod for the tail-end of Toronto's back-to-back when they travel to Tampa Bay on Wednesday. Stolarz notched a fifth consecutive victory in his last start, stopping all 27 shots he faced in a 5-0 victory over the Blue Jackets on Saturday. Stolarz has appeared in 31 games in his first season as a Maple Leaf, posting an 18-8-3 record and an outstanding .922 SV%. He'll need to be at his best again on Wednesday, as the Maple Leafs enter action at +150 on the money line.

In a crucial battle for first place in the Atlantic division, Tampa Bay will have Vasilevskiy tending the twine against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Wolf was solid in his most recent outing, saving 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%) in a 3-2 win over the San Jose Sharks. The 23-year-old rookie netminder has a solid 2.62 GAA and .911 SV% in 49 games this season (26-16-7).
