Tolopilo has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL).

Injuries in Vancouver's crease over the past few weeks unexpectedly thrust Tolopilo into the spotlight, posting a 3.56 GAA and .892 SV% in two games (1-1-0). The undrafted 25-year-old goalie returns to the AHL, where he has a 3.35 GAA and .901 SV% in five games (1-3-1) with the Abbotsford Canucks.

Markstrom will start in Dallas on Wednesday.

The Devils have allowed five goals in each of their last two games (0-2-0), and will hope for some defensive stability on Wednesday, turning to Markstrom to tend the twine against the Dallas Stars. The 35-year-old Markstrom allowed four goals on 31 shots (.871 SV%) in his most recent game, a 5-3 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, and has struggled with consistency all season. Markstrom has a 3.60 GAA and .874 SV% in 12 games this season (7-4-1).

Seguin has an ACL injury and expected to miss the rest of the 2025-26 season.

Seguin was favoring his knee after an awkward collision, leaving in the first period of Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the New York Rangers. The 33-year-old Seguin was off to a decent start to the 2025-26 season, scoring 17 points (7G / 10A) in 27 games, but will unfortunately return to a familiar place on Injured Reserve. Seguin has battled a myriad of injuries in recent years, including last season, when he missed 62 games.

Oettinger will start in New Jersey on Wednesday.

Oettinger was expected to start last night, but was under the weather, leaving the crease to Casey DeSmith in a 3-2 overtime loss to the New York Rangers. That said, Oettinger returns to the crease on Wednesday in the tail end of a back-to-back against the New Jersey Devils. The 26-year-old Oettinger has a 2.76 GAA and .900 SV% in 17 games (11-4-2) and has yet to consistently string together elite performances this season. The Stars enter Wednesday's contest as slight +102 road underdogs against a Devils team that has gone 4-5-0 since Jack Hughes’ injury (hand).

Miller is expected to be a healthy scratch vs. Montreal on Wednesday.

Elias Salomonsson and Neal Pionk (lower body) will return to the Jets' blueline on Wednesday against the Canadiens, resulting in Luke Schenn and Colin Miller being healthy scratches. The 33-year-old Miller has not played much this season, but drew into five straight games because of Pionk's injury.

Elias Salomonsson and Neal Pionk (lower body) will return to the Jets' blueline on Wednesday against the Canadiens, resulting in Luke Schenn and Colin Miller being healthy scratches. The 36-year-old Schenn is averaging 13:57 time-on-ice, nearly four minutes less than he was last season. He has 41 hits, 24 blocks, and four assists in 18 games this season.

Nyquist is expected to be a healthy scratch in Montreal on Wednesday.

Nyquist was acquired in the offseason to help mitigate the loss of Nikolaj Ehlers, but he has struggled finding his footing with the Jets. The 36-year-old Nyquist only has six points (0G / 6A) in 20 games, and has been held off the scoresheet in six straight. Cole Koepke will draw into the lineup as Nyquist's replacement.

Salomonsson will draw back into Winnipeg's lineup in Montreal on Wednesday.

Salamonsson was drafted in the second-round, 55th overall, by the Jets in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The 21-year-old Swedish defenseman played two games last week, making his NHL debut. He made his North American professional debut last season in the AHL, scoring 27 points (5G / 22A) in 53 games with the Manitoba Moose.

Pionk (lower-body) is expected to return in Montreal on Wednesday.

Pionk has not played in over a week, tending to a lower-body injury, but he will return on Wednesday against the Montreal Canadiens. The 30-year-old Pionk has been relied upon heavily this season, averaging 22:44 time-on-ice and recording five points (1G / 4A), 36 blocks, and 42 hits in 21 games.

Ersson will start vs. Buffalo on Wednesday.

The Flyers are coming off a disappointing 5-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins and hope to rebound on Wednesday, turning to Ersson to tend the twine against the Buffalo Sabres. The 26-year-old Ersson has struggled this season, but performed well in his most recent outing, saving 28 of 31 shots (.903 SV%) in a 4-3 shootout win over the New York Islanders. Ersson has a 3.09 GAA and .859 SV% in eight games this season (4-2-2).

Miner has been recalled from the Colorado Eagles (AHL).

Scott Wedgewood did not finish Tuesday's game due to an upper-body injury. Head Coach Jared Bednar emphasized it was just precautionary, but the team has recalled Miner from the Colorado Eagles (AHL) nonetheless. The 24-year-old Miner posted a 2.12 GAA and .909 SV% in two games with the Avalanche earlier this season (0-0-2).

Acciari (upper-body) is practicing in a normal sweater on Wednesday.

Acciari has been out since November 3rd due to an upper-body injury and returned to Pittsburgh's practice in a regular jersey on Wednesday. It is a good indicator that the 34-year-old may be ready to return in the upcoming days. In 13 games this season, he has three assists, 12 PIMs and 11 SOG.

Brazeau started the season on fire with 12 points in his first 12 games with Pittsburgh but had to head to IR on October 30th after sustaining an upper-body injury. The 27-year-old returned to practice in full on Wednesday and is hopeful to re-enter Pittsburgh's lineup in the upcoming days.

Florian Xhekaj is expected to be a healthy scratch on Wednesday against the Winnipeg Jets, allowing Davidson to re-enter the lineup. The 23-year-old Davidson is averaging 8:17 time-on-ice with zero points through five games in his first NHL season.
