Bussi will start against the Blue Jackets on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes have not been in top form lately, 3-4-0 in their last seven, something that can't be said when Bussi has been between the pipes. The 27-year-old first-year NHLer has been excellent when called upon for the Hurricanes, winning six straight, and posting a 2.21 GAA and .903 SV% through nine games this season (8-1-0). The Hurricanes enter Tuesday's contest as -195 home favorites against a Columbus Blue Jackets team that has fumbled its way to a 2-1-4 record in its last seven games.

McMann was suspended one game for high-sticking Oliver Bjorkstrand on Monday.

McMann was involved in an altercation with Bjorkstrand and struck him in the face with his stick during a scrum in Monday's 2-0 win over the Lightning. McMann received a match penalty on the play and will now also be unavailable for Toronto's game against the Sharks on Thursday. He will be eligible to return to the lineup ahead of Saturday's game against the Oilers.

Tampa Bay will opt to roll with Johansson between pipes on consecutive nights instead of relying on the inexperienced Brandon Halverson, with Andrei Vasilevskiy (undisclosed) on Injured Reserve. The 30-year-old Johansson played well last night, saving 23 of 24 shots (.958 SV%) in a 2-0 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Johansson has a 2.68 GAA and .901 SV% in 11 games this season (5-5-0).

Markstrom will start in Ottawa on Tuesday.

After starting the season with a league-best 8-1-0 record, the Devils have gone 8-11-1 since, tied heavily to the absence of superstar forward Jack Hughes (hand). Unfortunately for the Devils, Markstrom has not been able to solidify his game while the team has struggled offensively, allowing three or more goals in eight of his last nine games (4-4-1). The 35-year-old veteran goalie has an ugly 3.51 GAA and .876 SV% in 14 games this season (7-6-1). The Devils enter Tuesday's contest as +124 road underdogs against an Ottawa Senators team that has lost four of its last five (1-4-0).

Hart turned in a solid performance in New York on Monday, stopping 22 of the 24 shots he faced in a 3-2 overtime win over the Rangers. Sorokin will start against the Golden Knights on Tuesday.

The Islanders have quietly been one of the better teams in the NHL over the last month, going 10-5-1, largely credited to the improved play of Ilya Sorokin. The 30-year-old Sorokin is coming off a 32-save performance for his third shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. He boasts a solid 2.47 GAA and .912 SV% in 20 games this season (10-8-2). The Islanders enter Tuesday's contest as +122 road underdogs against a Vegas Golden Knights team on a four-game winning streak.

The 29-year-old Demko has battled adversity with injuries over the past several seasons and will likely be eased back into action upon his return. He has a 2.80 GAA and .903 SV% in 10 games (5-4-0) this season.
