Comrie will start vs. Calgary on Friday.

The Jets will turn to Comrie on Friday in the tail end of their back-to-back after seeing their five-game winning streak snap in yesterday's 3-0 loss to the Seattle Kraken. The 30-year-old Comrie has only played once this season but was brilliant in the effort, saving 33 of 35 shots (.943 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the New York Islanders on October 13th. The Jets enter Friday's contest as -134 home favorites against a Flames team that trails the league offensively, scoring only 13 goals through eight games (1.63 GF / GP).

Vancouver has acquired Lukas Reichel from Chicago for a 2027 4th round pick.

Reichel was a high-end prospect for the Blackhawks, drafted 17th-overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, that has trouble acclimating to the NHL in the Blackhawks organization. The 23-year-old was regularly a healthy scratch and saw limited ice time. He scored 58 points (22G / 36A) in 174 career games with the Blackhawks and was off to a strong start in the 2025-26 season, scoring four points (2G / 2A) in five games.

Woll (personal) is rejoining the team and will resume activities as part of his return-to-play process.

Woll has been away from the team for the past four weeks, since the preseason, to tend to personal matters, but has officially rejoined the team. He started in exactly half of Toronto's games last season, posting a 2.73 GAA and .909 SV%, and was likely poised to see similar totals in 2025-26. There is no timeline on when Woll might return to game action, but with Toronto's up-and-down 3-3-1 start to the season, they will happily welcome the services of Woll, hoping it solidifies their goaltending position.

Joseph Woll

Lyon will start vs. Toronto on Friday.

Lyon had his first night off of the season in Buffalo's previous game, but he will return to the crease on Friday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. After losing their first three games of the season, the Sabres have rebounded, winning three of four, due in part to strong play from Lyon. The 32-year-old netminder is sporting a solid 2.55 GAA and .924 SV% in six games (2-4-0). The Sabres enter Friday's contest as +111 home underdogs against a 3-3-1 Maple Leafs team.

Gustavsson will start vs. Utah on Saturday.

Minnesota has been outscored 27-21 through eight games this season (3-4-1) and will hope for an improved defensive effort on Saturday, turning to Gustavsson between the pipes against the Utah Mammoth. The 27-year-old Gustavsson has a serviceable 3.04 GAA and .902 SV% in six games (4-2-0), but he was excellent in his most recent outing despite a 4-1 loss, saving 31 of 34 shots (.912 SV%) against the New Jersey Devils.
