Carrier will make his Canadiens' debut in Detroit on Friday.

The Canadiens acquired Carrier from the Nashville Predators on Wednesday in exchange for defenseman Justin Barron. Carrier has not played since December 7th due to an upper-body injury. He joins the Canadiens after scoring 11 goals and 58 assists in 245 career games with the Predators.

Rempe will draw back into New York's lineup in Dallas on Friday.

Rempe has not played since November 25th but will return to the lineup on Friday against the Dallas Stars. The 22-year-old Rempe has only played four games with the Rangers this season, spending most of his time in the AHL, scoring five points (3G / 2A) in 18 games with the Hartford Wolf Pack.

Reaves is expected to be a healthy scratch in Buffalo on Friday.

Pontus Holmberg will draw back into the lineup on Friday against the Buffalo Sabres, sending Reaves back to the press box as a healthy scratch. The 37-year-old Reaves has played seven of the last eight games for the Maple Leafs and has one point (0G / 1A) and 70 hits in 23 games this season.

Sasson will be a healthy scratch in Vegas on Thursday.

Sasson will take a seat along with Nils Hoglander on Thursday as the Canucks opt to get some fresh legs into the lineup for the tail-end of their back-to-back. Their absences will allow Phil Di Giuseppe and Linus Karlsson to make their season debuts.
