The Ducks have sent Mason McTavish to Peterborough (OHL).

McTavish played nine games with the Ducks, so sending him back to the OHL preserves the first year of his entry-level contract. The 18-year-old had two goals and one assist with the Ducks after going No.3 overall in this summer's draft.

The Kings have recalled Sean Durzi from Ontario (AHL).

Durzi has had a terrific start to the season in Ontario, scoring five goals with eight assists (13 points) in 12 games. Durzi replaces Austin Strand, who was with the Kings but not in the lineup. It remains to be seen if Durzi will make his NHL debut over the weekend.

The Wild have activated Matthew Boldy from the injured non-roster list and assigned him to Iowa (AHL).

Boldy suffered a fractured ankle in early October and is set to make his season debut with Iowa. The 20-year-old had 18 points (6G / 12A) in 14 AHL games last season. If he has that kind of production again, expect him to make a quick return to Minnesota.

Vilardi (COVID-19) was assigned to Ontario (AHL) on Tuesday.

Vilardi has not played since November 2nd but was activated from the COVID-19 protocol list and sent to the AHL yesterday. Rasmus Kupari has stepped up as the Kings' No.3 centre, so Vilardi can go back to the AHL and get back up to speed after a couple of weeks out of the lineup.

With both Jonathan Marchessault and William Carrier landing on the COVID-19 protocol list, the Golden Knights have recalled Baertschi and Paul Cotter. Baertschi has scored four goals with four assists (eight points) in 12 games with Henderson this season.
