Mrazek will be the Red Wings starter in Game 1.

Mrazek posted a 35-save shutout in the Red Wings 2-0 win over the Hurricanes in the season finale. The shutout put a stamp on Mrazek being the game 1 starter vs. the Lightning. He went 16-9-2 with a 2.38 GAA and .918 SV% with the Red Wings this season. He was pulled in his first start against Tampa Bay, but posted a 23-save shutout in his second.

Sustr (upper-body) is expected to play in Game 1.

Sustr missed the final six games of the regular season but was in practice on Monday and he is hopeful that he will return to the lineup in Game 1. He skated as an extra this morning, which is not a good sign, but he has two more days to get ready.

Killorn (undisclosed) is expected to play in Game 1.

Killorn missed the final three games of the season, but he was skating on the top line with Steven Stamkos and Ryan Callahan at practice this morning and is expected to play on Thursday. Killorn had 15 goals and 23 assists (37 points) in 71 games.

Stalock will start the Sharks season finale.

Stalock surrendered five goals on 25 shots in the Sharks loss to the Stars on Monday. Antti Niemi started on Thursday, but Stalock will start this season finale in Los Angeles. Stalock has gone 8-8-2 with a 2.60 GAA and .902 SV% in 18 starts this season. He will face a Kings team who have lost three in a row and have been eliminated from the playoffs as well.

Mrazek gets the nod in Carolina.

Mrazek allowed two goals on 28 shots in the Red Wings loss to the Capitals last Sunday. He has lost four in a row while posting a 2.98 GAA and .898 SV%. He has struggled recently, but Jimmy Howard allowed a couple of weak goals on Thursday, so they will go back to Mrazek in the season finale.

Stalock allowed one goal on 20 shots in the Sharks win over the Avalanche on Wednesday. He has won two of his last three games with a 1.77 GAA and .918 SV%. Tonight he will make his ninth start of the season at home—he has gone 5-3-0 with a 1.83 GAA and .922 SV% in the first eight starts.

Stalock allowed one goal on 20 shots in the Sharks win over the Avalanche on Wednesday. He has won two of his last three games with a 1.77 GAA and .918 SV%. Tonight he will make his ninth start of the season at home—he has gone 5-3-0 with a 1.83 GAA and .922 SV% in the first eight starts.

Mrazek allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Red Wings 3-2 loss to the Bruins on Thursday. He played well but allowed a softie late in the third. He has one win while posted a 2.48 GAA and .911 SV% in his last five appearances. He has gone 5-3-2 with a 2.16 GAA and .921 SV% in nine starts and two relief appearance at home this season.

Stalock (illness) is questionable to start on Friday.

Stalock has started the last three games, but is questionable for tonight’s game due to an illness. Even if he can’t start tonight vs. the Coyotes, he could start tomorrow in Arizona if he is feeling better. He has gone 2-0-1 with a 1.58 GAA and .930 SV% in the last three games.

Stalock allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Sharks loss to the Penguins on Saturday. He has started the last two games, stopping 47 of 51 shots (.922 SV%). Stalock has gone 4-3-0 with a 1.95 GAA and .919 SV% in seven games at home this season.

Mrazek will start on Thursday vs. the Bruins.

Mrazek made 33 saves on 34 shots in the Red Wings 2-1 shootout loss to the Senators on Tuesday. It was a lacklustre effort by the Red Wings, but Mrazek was great, earning him a fourth straight start. He has gone 1-0-1 with a 2.28 GAA and .920 SV% in his previous three starts. Tonight is a massive matchup against the Bruins, who have won three straight.

Mrazek starts on Tuesday vs. the Senators.

Mrazek was pulled after allowing four goals on 11 shots in the Red Wings 5-4 loss to the Islanders on Sunday. It was a rough outing after posting a 23-save shutout on Saturday. Mrazek comes into play at 2-2-0 with a 2.53 GAA and .922 SV% in March. Tonight he will face a Senators team who have lost three consecutive games after winning their previous seven.

Stalock allowed two goals on 18 shots in the Sharks win over the Flyers last night. Antti Niemi will not play tonight because he is under the weather, so Stalock will go again tonight. Stalock has gone 7-7-1 with a 2.60 GAA and .902 SV% this season. He will face a Penguins team who will be without Kris Letang and maybe David Perron.

Mrazek stopped all 23 shots that he faced in the Red Wings 4-0 win over the Lightning yesterday. It was a big win for the Red Wings, who had been struggling mightily heading into Saturday. Mrazek’s shutout earned him the back-to-back start this afternoon vs. the Islanders. New York comes in having lost seven of their last eight games.

Stalock gave up two goals on 12 shots after replacing Antti Niemi in the Sharks loss in Winnipeg on March 17th. Stalock has gone 2-4-1 with a 3.26 GAA and .892 SV% in seven starts and two relief appearances on the road this season. He will face a Flyers team who are 21-9-6 at home.

Mrazek allowed two goals on 19 shots after replacing Jimmy Howard in the Red Wings 6-4 loss to San Jose on Thursday. Since being recalled, Mrazek has gone 1-2-0 with a 2.29 GAA and .936 SV%. Today he faces a Lightning team who the Red Wings are 0-2-1 against while being outscored 11-5 this season.

Mrazek stopped 42 of 43 shots in the Red Wings 5-1 win over the Penguins on Sunday. The 42 saves is a bit misleading as the Red Wings were in control of this game from start-to-finish. He has been very strong this season going 14-5-1 with a 2.47 GAA and .914 SV% and should make for a nice start tonight vs. a Panthers team he is already 1-0 against this season.
