Kirasanov was Los Angeles's 2021 3rd-round pick (84th overall) and has signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Kings after spending the last five seasons in the KHL. The 22-year-old Russian defenseman is expected to report to Ontario (AHL) for the start of this season. In 2024-25, he had three goals, seven points, and a +5 plus/minus in 34 games played with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod (KHL).

Kuemper posted a fantastic 31-11-7 record and .921 SV% in the regular season, so it will certainly take a lot more than one shaky performance for the Kings to consider any sort of change in goal. Los Angeles enters action on Wednesday at -130 on the money line.

George was a second-round pick, 57th overall, of the Kings in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. The 18-year-old goalie had a serviceable final season in the OHL, posting a 3.35 GAA and .909 SV% in 47 appearances (17-22-6) with the Owen Sound Attack.

Kuemper did not play the Kings' final two games of the season, but he will return to the crease for Game One against the Edmonton Oilers. The 34-year-old Kuemper sported one of the best seasons of his career, posting a stellar 2.02 GAA, .921 SV%, and five shutouts in 50 appearances (31-11-7). In addition, Kuemper was outstanding against the Oilers this season, posting a 1.05 GAA and .960 SV% in four games (3-1-0). The Kings enter Game One as -126 home favorites against the Oilers.
