Kuemper (lower-body) practiced on Tuesday and is "getting better every day."

Kuemper, who has missed the last 14 games, will miss Wednesday's game in Anaheim but head coach Rich Tocchet is encouraged by his progress. Tocchet said that the break "really helped with the rehab" and that Kuemper is nearing a return with each practice. Antti Raanta will continue to get the bulk of the starts but it looks like Kuemper will be back in the fold very soon.

Kuemper is week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

Kuemper went down without contact and was forced to leave late in Thursday's loss to the Wild and is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks. This is a huge blow for the Coyotes but Antti Raanta is a more than capable starter who will carry the water for the Coyotes moving forward. Don't expect to see Kuemper until early-January at the absolute earliest.

Kuemper will start Thursday vs. the Wild.

Kuemper stopped 26 of 28 shots in the Coyotes 3-2 win in San Jose on Tuesday. Kuemper has allowed two goals in three straight games and is 5-1-0 with a 1.98 GAA and .935 SV% in his last six starts. Tonight he faces the team that drafted him for the second time this season--he allowed four goals on 24 shots in 4-3 loss in the first meeting (Nov.9).

Kuemper will start Tuesday in Columbus.

Kuemper allowed one goal on 38 shots in the Coyotes loss in Vegas on Friday. Antti Raanta started Saturday but they'll come back to Kuemper in Columbus. November was another great month for Kuemper, who was 5-3-2 with a 2.04 GAA, .937 SV% and two shutouts in 10 games. Kuemper leads the NHL in GAA (1.97) and SV% (.935) so you can't bench him regardless of the matchup.

Edler is doubtful for Sunday's game due to an upper-body injury.

Edler was forced to leave Saturday's win in Edmonton with an upper-body injury and is not expected to play in the second-half of their home-and-home on Sunday. With Edler out, look for Tyler Myers and Quinn Hughes to play a lot more on Sunday and for Troy Stecher to see some power-play time.
