Wedgewood is in the starter's crease at the Stars morning skate.

The Predators have recalled Michael McCarron from Milwaukee (AHL).

McCarron had two goals, four assists, 28 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus through 16 games with Milwaukee (AHL) and has been recalled to Nashville Tuesday. The 28-year-old bruising winger returns to the Predators, where he has a goal, two points, 24 PIMs and a -7 plus/minus through 22 games played this season.

Nick Blankenburg is week-to-week with an ankle injury.

Blankenburg has four goals, 10 assists, 50 SOG, 16 PIMs and a -16 plus/minus through 36 games this season but will now be forced to miss the remained of the regular season as he is week-to-week with an ankle injury. The 24-year-old will hope for a strong sophomore season next year after impressing in his rookie campaign.

Saros allowed three goals on 31 shots (.903 SV%) to snap a two-game losing streak as he beat the Buffalo Sabres in his last start. The 27-year-old has been the Predators' best player all season, with his 27-19-7 record, 2.76 GAA and .917 SV%. He will face the Seattle Kraken, who have lost four of their last six games but are fourth in the NHL in goals per game (3.5).

Juuse Saros will start Tuesday vs. Buffalo.

Saros allowed three goals on 34 shots (.912 SV%) for his second-straight loss in his last start as he was defeated by Winnipeg. The 27-year-old has had yet another strong season while leading the Predators, as shown by his 26-19-7 record, 2.75 GAA, and .917 SV%. He takes on the plummeting Buffalo Sabres, who have lost three-straight and seven of their last eight games.

Josi (undisclosed) remains day-to-day and will not play Tuesday in Buffalo.
