Lauzon took an ugly-looking fall early in Saturday's game vs. the Blackhawks and is expected to miss an extended period of time. Matt Benning replaced Lauzon in the lineup on Sunday and will likely remain in the lineup moving forward.

Blankenburg was an undrafted free agent out of the University of Michigan who signed with the Blue Jackets last week. Blankenburg is an undersized defenseman (5-foot-8, 152 lbs) who had 14 goals with 15 assists (29 points) in 38 games at Michigan.
The Predators drafted Wilsby in the fourth-round in the 2020 NHL Draft. The 21-year-old defenseman is in his second full season with Skelleftea AIK (SHL) and registered 17 points (4G / 13A) in 51 games.
Barron suffered an ankle injury vs. the Senators last Tuesday and will miss the rest of the season. His injury does not require surgery but it will cost him the final few weeks of the year. Barron had one goal and one assist in five games since joining the Canadiens at the trade deadline.
