L'Heureux was on the receiving end of an illegal cross-check from Timo Meier and exited the game late in the third period. Meier was given a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct. An update on L'Heureux should be provided ahead of the Predators' next game on Wednesday against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Predators have recalled Fedor Svechkov from Milwaukee (AHL).

Svechkov was a first-round pick (No.19 overall) in 2021 and could make his NHL debut on Saturday. The 21-year-old forward is currently over a point-per-game with Milwaukee, scoring five goals with three assists (eight points) in seven games. Adam Wilsby was sent to the AHL to make room on the roster.

Wilsby will return to Nashville after being returne to Milwaukee (AHL) earlier in the week and is expected to provide the Predators with some defensive depth. The 24-year-old has yet to make his NHL debut but had a goal and three points in 11 games with Milwaukee during his time in the minors this season.

Saros will make his league leading 16th start of the season when the Predators travel to Seattle to take on the Kraken on Wednesday. Saros picked up the win his last time out, allowing three goals on 27 shots enroute to 5-3 victory in Vancouver on Sunday. Nashville's franchise netminder owns a .914 SV% and a 2.55 GAA on the season to go along with a 5-8-2 record. Saros and the Predators enter action as -135 road favourites over the Kraken on Wednesday.
