Markstrom will start Tuesday in Dallas.

Markstrom surrendered four goals on 29 shots in the Canucks loss to the Stars last Thursday. Markstrom and Thatcher Demko have been alternating starts lately and tonight is Markstrom's turn in the crease. He has lost five consecutive outings (0-3-2) while posting a 2.60 GAA and .912 SV%. He'll be in tough against a Stars team that has won three in a row and seven of their last eight (7-0-1) while averaging 3.75 goals per game.

Allen will start Friday in Columbus.

Allen allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Blues win in Edmonton on November 6th. Allen doesn’t get a lot of playing time but has played well as of late, winning two in a row while stopping 52 of the 57 shots (.912 SV%) that he faced. He draws a pretty nice spot-start matchup on Friday—the Blue Jackets have lost three straight while scoring just two goals in their last three home games.

The Devils have recalled Colton White from Binghamton (AHL).

White was a fourth-round pick in 2015 and appeared in three NHL games with the Devils last season. The 22-year-old defenseman, who has three assists in 15 AHL games this season, could make his season debut on Friday night. Sami Vatanen (upper-body) was moved to IR to make room for White.

On Thursday, he faces a Stars team that played last night on home-ice, where he is 2-1-2 with a 2.51 GAA and .916 SV%.

The Canucks have recalled Zack MacEwen from Utica (AHL).

MacEwen comes up because Brandon Sutter was hurt early in Tuesday's win over the Predators. MacEwen has just one assist in four career NHL games and will likely make his season debut on Thursday. The 23-year-old has eight points (3G / 5A) in 13 games with Utica this season.

Bratt (upper-body) will draw back into the Devils lineup on Friday.

Bratt has missed the last two games with an upper-body issue but will play Friday in Edmonton. Bratt will replace Kevin Rooney in the lineup and will skate on a line with Adam Boqvist and Jack Hughes. He has three goals and two assists in 11 games this season.

Markstrom will start Tuesday vs. the Blues.

Markstrom allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Canucks loss in Anaheim last Friday. Thatcher Demko got the nod on Saturday but Markstrom will make his third start in four games on Tuesday. He's actually been better on the road, but has yet to lose in regulation in Vancouver, going 2-0-1 with a 2.84 GAA and .910 SV% so far. He also went 2-0 against the Blues a season ago.

Bratt (upper-body) will not play Tuesday; could join the team later on the road-trip.

Bratt worked out off ice on Monday and will not travel to Winnipeg for Tuesday's game. It is the start of a four-game western Canadian road-trip for the Devils, so they haven't ruled out the possibility of Brett joining them later in the trip. Nikita Gusev will replace him on Tuesday.

Allen starts Saturday in Minnesota.

Allen allowed four goals on 24 shots in the Blues loss to the Canadiens on October 19th. Allen missed a start last weekend due to an illness but will make his third start of the season on Saturday evening. He has allowed four goals in each of his starts while posting a .849 SV%, but a matchup with the Wild keeps him in the spot-start conversation on Saturday.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Canucks win in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Markstrom has won five of his last six starts (5-0-1) while posting a 2.60 GAA and .919 SV%. He struggled to 1-3-0 vs. the Ducks last year but the Canucks are firing on all cylinders offensively right now, so Markstrom has a good chance at chalking up his sixth win.
