Hamonic missed the season finale after getting injured in on Friday in Pittsburgh. There was no update on his status after practice, but it doesn’t look good for the 24-year-old.
Hamonic left yesterday’s game with an undisclosed injury and will be re-evaluated today before a decision on his status for tonight is made. With the Islanders already in the playoffs, don’t be surprised if Hamonic sits tonight.
Anderson allowed four goals on 31 shots in the Senators 4-3 loss to the Maple Leafs last night. Despite the loss, Anderson will go again tonight vs. the Panthers. In his first two starts against Florida, Anderson has gone 1-1-0 with a 1.52 GAA and .961 SV%.
Perron missed Saturday’s game with an illness and it doesn’t look like he will go tonight either. Monitor his status during pre-game warmups and if he does end up playing, expect him to skate with Sidney Crosby and Patric Hornqvist.
There was no word prior to warmups that Perron was dealing with an illness, but he will sit this afternoon, so Patric Hornqvist will replace him on the first line. Perron has no points and is a minus-5 in his last five games. Monitor Perron’s status prior to Sunday’s contest.
MacArthur will play in his first game since February 16th tonight against his former team in Toronto. MacArthur will skate on the top-line with Kyle Turris and Mark Stone. Mac has 26 points (13G / 13A) in 53 games this season.
Anderson will make his first start since March 10th, when he re-aggravated his hand injury. He enters play at 14-12-7 with a 2.44 GAA and .925 SV% in 33 starts this season. Tonight he draws a stellar matchup against a Maple Leafs team who have been the worst team in the NHL for months. Anderson is 8-6-2 with a 2.72 GAA and .920 SV% in his career vs. much better Leafs teams.

MacArthur has been out since February 16th, but he will be at coach Cameron’s “disposal” for Saturday. It seems like an easy choice to play MacArthur, but monitor his status during the morning skate.
Anderson has missed the last eight games but he says he is feeling good. He will travel with the team, but the Senators have not announced whether Anderson will dress as a starter or a backup, or if he will even dress at all.
MacArthur has been sidelined since February 16th, but it looks like he will be back for Saturday’s game against the Maple Leafs. MacArthur has 26 points (13G / 13A) in 53 games this season.
MacArthur has been sidelined with a concussion since February 16th, but he could be back in the lineup during the Senators back-to-back on Saturday or Sunday. MacArthur should provide a nice boost to a Senators team that is rolling right now.
Anderson has missed the last seven games after re-aggravating a hand injury. His absence has not mattered that much because of the emergence of Andrew Hammond. The Senators have a back-to-back this weekend, so there is a chance that Anderson could draw one of those two starts.
Anderson’s hand injury has reportedly flared up and it will keep him out of tonight’s game in Carolina. With Anderson back in the press box, the Senators have recalled Chris Driedger from Binghamton (AHL) to back up Andrew Hammond.
Del Zotto will miss his sixth straight game with an upper-body injury. MDZ is day-to-day and close to returning, but it won’t be tomorrow.
MacArthur remains without a timetable for his return and he is reportedly still dealing with concussion symptoms, so he won’t be back in practice until those subside.
