Gaudreau (upper-body) was a full participant in practice on Thursday and is getting close to returning.

Gaudreau has not played since mid October due to an upper-body injury, and is about four weeks into his original 4-6 week timeline. The 32-year-old Gaudreau was averaging 12:52 time-on-ice and has one assist through four games before his injury.

Grubauer was the first goalie off the ice at Seattle's morning skate.

Even with an injury to starting netminder Joey Daccord, Seattle has failed to put their trust in Grubauer, leaning more on Matt Murray, but they will likely turn to Grubauer on Thursday against the Winnipeg Jets. Once considered a top-10 goalie, finishing as high as third in the Vezina voting in his final season with the Colorado Avalanche in 2020-21, Grubauer has been far from reliable since joining the Kraken. In 159 games with Seattle, he has a subpar 3.06 GAA and .890 SV% in 159 games (58-78-13). In three games this season (2-1-0), he has a 2.49 GAA and .875 SV%. Seattle enters the action on Thursday as +125 home underdogs against a Winnipeg team that has scored one goal or fewer in three of its last four games (1-3-0).

Philipp Grubauer
Daccord (upper-body) practiced on Wednesday for the first time since being placed on IR.

Daccord has not played since November 5th due to an upper-body injury, but appears to be inching closer to a return after practicing on Wednesday. Matt Murray has seen most of the action between the pipes since Daccord's injury and will likely continue to do so until Daccord returns.

Joey Daccord
Murray will start against the Blue Jackets on Tuesday.

With Joey Daccord on Injured Reserve, Seattle continues rolling with their tandem of Matt Murray and Philipp Grubauer. Murray returns to the crease on Tuesday after a strong performance in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Dallas Stars, saving 22 of 24 shots (.917 SV%). The 31-year-old Murray continues his search for his first win of the season, posting a 2.72 GAA and .900 SV% through three appearances (0-2-0). The Kraken enter Tuesday's contest as -113 home favorites against a Columbus Blue Jackets team coming off a disappointing 5-4 overtime loss to the Edmonton Oilers last night.

McCann (lower-body) is "not close yet" to returning but is still considered day-to-day.

McCann has not played since October 20th and few details have been shared about the severity of his injury. The 29-year-old McCann has four points (3G / 1A) in five games this season and has no concrete timeline on when he may return.

Jared McCann
Evans (upper-body) will travel with Seattle on their upcoming road trip.

Evans suffered an injury towards the end of September and has yet to play this season, but is approaching his original six-to-eight week recovery timeline and could draw into the lineup in one of the team's next two games. The 23-year-old is entering his third season with the Kraken after posting career highs across the board in 2024-25 with five goals, 25 points and 59 SOG in 73 games played.

Ryker Evans
Daccord will start against the Sharks on Wednesday.

Seattle has only lost twice in regulation through 12 games this season (6-2-4), largely due to strong goaltending from Joey Daccord. The 29-year-old Daccord will return to the crease on Wednesday against the San Jose Sharks. He was excellent in his most recent outing, saving 29 of 30 shots (.967 SV%) in a 3-1 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, improving his season totals to a 2.53 GAA and .910 SV% in 10 games (6-1-3). Seattle enters Wednesday's contest as -155 home favorites against a Sharks team with points in four of their last five games (3-1-1).

Meyers is a healthy scratch for Monday's game against the Blackhawks.

Berkly Catton was originally thought to be the odd-man out as Jani Nyman re-enters the lineup, but it will ultimately be Meyers who takes a seat on Monday. Meyers has no goals and two assists in five games this season.

Ben Meyers
Daccord will start against the Blackhawks on Monday.

Seattle has points in four straight (2-0-2) and will hope to keep the streak going on Monday, with Daccord tending the twine against the Chicago Blackhawks. The 29-year-old Daccord has kept his team within each of almost every game this season, posting a serviceable 2.70 GAA and .904 SV% in nine games (5-1-3). Seattle enters Monday's contest as -146 home favorites against a Chicago team that has lost three of their last four games (1-2-1).
