Murray will back up for Game 2 vs. Florida on Wednesday.

With Anthony Stolarz (concussion) being ruled out for Game 2 on Wednesday, Matt Murray will serve as Toronto's backup vs. Florida. The 30-year-old spent the majority of his 2024-25 season with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) but did appear in two games with the Maple Leafs during the regular season, struggling with his 1-1-0 record, 3.54 GAA and .879 SV%.

Ottavainen was Seattle's fourth-round pick, 99th overall, in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old defenseman has yet to play an NHL game. He has 15 points (3G / 12A) in 66 games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) this season.

Daccord will make his 54th start of the season when the Kraken travel to Vegas on Thursday. Daccord struggled on Tuesday while making his second start in as many nights, giving up seven goals on 29 shots in a 7-1 loss in Utah. The 28-year-old netminder has performed well for the Kraken this season, posting a 27-21-5 record and a .908 SV%. He'll have his hands full again on Thursday as the Kraken enter action at +225 on the money line.
