The Kraken are slight +101 home underdogs against their division rivals, the Vancouver Canucks, who have cooled off after their hot start to the season, losing three of their last four (1-3-0).

Joey Daccord will start Wednesday vs. San Jose.

With Philipp Grubauer sidelined due to an injury, Daccord will start Wednesday against the last-place San Jose Sharks. The 2023-24 season has been bumpy for Daccord, who has allowed at least three goals in eight of his nine starts (88.9%), going 2-2-5 with a 2.98 GAA and .901 SV% overall. That said, the Kraken are -300 home favourites against a Sharks team that averages a league-worst 1.50 goals per game.

Philipp Grubauer (undisclosed) left Monday's game with an injury and is considered day-to-day.

Grubauer left the Kraken's game Monday vs. Calgary after the first period due to an undisclosed injury and did not practice Tuesday. He is considered day-to-day and Chris Driedger is expected to get the call-up in his absense. The 31-year-old netminder is on pace for his worst statistical season in his three years in Seattle, as he is 5-6-0 with a .885 SV% and a 3.36 GAA.

Grubauer will start against the Flames on Monday.

Grubauer has started two straight for the Kraken and will start again on Monday against the Calgary Flames. Despite having won an impressive five of his last seven games (5-2-0), Grubauer is doing the bare minimum between the pipes for the Kraken, posting a subpar .884 SV% during that stretch. In fact, three of Grubauer's five wins have been sub-.885 SV% performances as the German goaltender has only three quality starts through 11 games this season. The Kraken are slight -104 home underdogs against a Flames team that has collected a point in three straight (2-0-1).

Montour (shoulder) will make his season debut on Friday.

Montour missed the first 16 games of the regular season after undergoing offseason shoulder surgery. Montour will look to pick up where he left off last season, where he had career-highs in goals (16), assists (57), points (73), SOG (242), and Power-play points (33). It unclear where Montour will line-up in his first game back, but he should re-claim his spot on the top power-play unit.

Brandon Montour (shoulder) will be a game-time decision Friday vs. Anaheim.

If Montour can play on Friday, he will be about one week ahead of the initial recovery schedule that targeted him for an American Thanksgiving return date. Montour has yet to play this season but will look to build on an incredible breakout campaign in 2022-23. Last season, Montour scored an impressive 73 points (16G / 57A) in 80 games after only scoring 73 points (23G / 50A) in his 185 combined games prior.

Grubauer will start against the Islanders on Thursday.

Grubauer will return to the Kraken crease on Thursday after Seattle turned to Joey Daccord for each of the team's last two games. Grubauer's last start came via a 4-1 defeat to the Oilers on Saturday, when he surrendered four goals on just 17 shots before being lifted from the game in favour of Daccord. His record on the season now sits at 3-6-0 to go along with his .891 SV% and 3.31 GAA. He'll hope to get things back on track in a decent home matchup against the Islanders in a pick 'em game on Thursday.
