Patera will start in Tampa Bay on Thursday.

With both Logan Thompson and Adin Hill unavailable due to injury, it will be Jiri Patera who gets the call for the Golden Knights on Thursday. Patera made his second appearance of the season in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes, stopping all ten shots he faced after Thompson left early in the third period with an upper-body injury. Patera picked up the win in his lone start of the season, allowing four goals on 39 shots enroute to a 5-4 shootout victory over the Sharks on December 10th. The second-year netminder owns a .924 SV% across four career appearances.

Demko will return to the crease after serving as the backup on Tuesday as the Canucks will search for their seventh win in their last eight games. Demko is riding a personal four-game winning streak, allowing only five total goals while posting a stellar .940 SV%. In his last matchup against the Dallas Stars, Demko saved all 27 shots he faced for a 2-0 shutout victory. Even so, the Canucks are listed as +134 against a Stars team that has scored three or more goals in four straight games (3-0-1).

Lankinen will start in Carolina on Friday.

The Predators are opting to defy the conventional approach to a back-to-back and give Lankinen the start on Friday, meaning Juuse Saros is likely to get the nod against the Capitals on Saturday. Lankinen took a tough-luck loss his last start on December 9th in Toronto, allowing three goals on 36 shots in the 4-0 defeat. He'll have his hands full again tonight with the Predators being +145 underdogs in Caorlina.

Demko will start Thursday's game against the Panthers.

Demko is fresh off his league-leading 14th win of the season, putting on a dominant display in a 4-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 28-year-old netminder has been in outstanding form this season, firmly bouncing back from his injury-riddled 2022-23 campaign. He will have his hands full again on Thursday as the Canucks play host to the Panthers and their high-powered attack.
