Boeser (upper-body) is considered day-to-day.

Boeser suffered an upper-body injury after receiving an illegal hit from Tanner Jeannot in last Thursday's matchup against the Los Angeles Kings. He has missed one game since and is listed as day-to-day. Before his injury, Boeser was picking up where he left off with last seasons career-best totals, scoring 11 points (6G / 5A) in 12 games.

Silovs has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL) on Monday.

After starting two of the first three games for Vancouver, Silovs has been limited to only one start in the past 10 games, as Kevin Lankinen has taken the reins of the crease. The 23-year-old Silovs remains winless in four appearances this season (0-2-1), posting an ugly 4.77 GAA and .808 SV%.

Young has been reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL) on Monday.

Young was a fifth-round pick of the Canucks in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. He had spent the beginning of the 2024-25 campaign with the Kalamazoo Wings (ECHL), posting a 1.01 GAA and .974 SV% in two games (1-1-0), but will look to get some action with the Abbotsford Canucks in the AHL.

Demko (lower body) participated at practice on Sunday.

Demko faced some shots and participated in a limited manor at practice on Sunday. Head coach Rick Tocchet said Demko is "making progress" and, although there is no specific timeline for his return, his presence at practice is a promising sign. The 28-year-old Demko was tremendous for the Canucks last season, posting a career-best 2.45 GAA and .918 SV% in 51 games (35-14-2).

Lankinen will start on Thursday in Los Angeles.

The Canucks have outscored their opposition 8-3 in their last two games (2-0-0), both with Lankinen between the pipes, and will roll with him for a third straight contest on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings. The 29-year-old Lankinen has been tremendous for the Canucks this season, allowing three or fewer goals in all but one contest, posting an elite 2.09 GAA and .923 SV% in eight games (6-0-2). The Canucks enter the action on Thursday as -117 road favorites against the Kings.

Joshua (testicular cancer) is unlikely to play against the Kings on Thursday.

Joshua is essentially day-to-day at this point, and he should be back in the Canucks lineup sooner than later. In mid-September, the Canucks announced that 28-year-old Dakota Joshua had been diagnosed with testicular cancer and successfully had a tumor removed but would not be ready for the start of training camp. The fifth-year winger is coming off his best season in 2023-24, with 18 goals, 32 points, 60 PIMs, 84 SOG, and a +19 plus/minus through 63 games played.

Forbort (lower-body) is expected to be out week-to-week.

Forbort played 15:18 time-on-ice in the Canucks' previous game, returning from a six-game absence due to personal reasons, but has suffered a lower-body injury that will keep him out of the lineup for the foreseeable future. The 32-year-old Forbort has one point (0G / 1A) while averaging 16:30 time-on-ice through four games this season.
