Derek Forbort will not play Saturday vs. Minnesota after having an MRI on Friday (undisclosed).

Forbort had an MRI on Friday on his undisclosed injury and is not expected to be in the lineup for either of the Bruins' games this weekend. The 31-year-old has five goals, seven assists, 38 SOG, 23 PIMs and a +12 plus/minus through 54 games this season.

He takes on the Arizona Coyotes, who have surprisingly won four of their last five games after a 4-3 overtime win over Calgary last game.

Di Giuseppe has two goals, two assists, 33 SOG, and a -6 plus/minus through 13 games this season and has now signed a new two-year contract extension worth $1.55 million ($775K AAV). The 29-year-old has 214 career NHL games under his belt, with 57 points (18G/39A) and 77 PIMs.

Jiri Patera has been recalled from the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL).

Patera has a 12-13-1 record, a .916 SV% and 2.66 GAA with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL) and has been recalled to Vegas for the first time this season as a replacement for the injured Adin HIll. The 24-year-old was Vegas' 2017 sixth-round pick (161 overall).

He takes on the Anaheim Ducks, who have won four of their last six games but are 31st in the NHL in goals per game (2.51).

The contract will be two-way in the first season and one-way in the second season. Brisebois has split his 2023 season between the AHL and NHL, picking up one assist in nine games with Vancouver. During his time in the AHL, the 25-year-old has six points (1G / 5A) in 36 games.

Arturs Silovs has been reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL).

Silovs beat Nashville Tuesday with a 29 save performance (.906 SV%) and moved his season record to 3-2-0 with a 2.75 GAA and .908 SV% but has been reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL) Tuesday. The 21-year-old returns to the minors, where he has a 21-10-4 record, 2.55 GAA and .903 SV%.

Daniel Sprong will draw back into the Krakens' lineup Tuesday.

Sprong has been a healthy scratch for the Krakens' previous two-games but will draw back into the lineup Tuesday as he replaces Brandon Tanev. The 25-year-old has been incredibly productive despite averaging only 11:16 ATOI, with 15 goals, 32 points, 106 SOG and a +8 plus/minus through 49 games this season.
