Romanov (illness) is expected to return to the Islanders' lineup on Saturday vs. Calgary.

Nedeljkovic watched Tristan Jarry and the Penguins go 4-1-0 in their last five games, but he will return to the crease on Friday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 29-year-old Nedeljkovic struggled in his most recent outing, allowing four goals on 27 shots (.852 SV%) in a 4-0 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. He has a 3.17 GAA and .891 SV% in 33 games this season (12-14-5). The Penguins enter Friday's contest as -121 home favorites against a Blue Jackets squad that has been shut out three times during a five-game losing skid (0-4-1).

Rafferty is an undrafted defenseman who last appeared in the NHL in the 2020-21 season, playing one game with the Vancouver Canucks. The 29-year-old Rafferty has 19 points (6G / 13A) in 50 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) this season.

The Sabres will somewhat surprisingly turn to Reimer between the pipes when they travel to Utah on Thursday. The 36-year-old netminder owns a 2-5-2 record and a .903 SV% across 11 appearances this season. Reimer and the Sabres enter action on Thursday at +150 on the money line.
