Pickard (undisclosed) is day-to-day and will not play in Game 3 on Saturday.

Pickard is 6-0 in the 2024-25 playoffs, but he will not play in Game 3 on Saturday. He is sidelined day-to-day with an undisclosed injury. The 33-year-old Pickard was shaken up late in the third period of Edmonton's Game 2 victory after Tomas Hertl of the Vegas Golden Knights awkwardly collided with him. It's unclear if that sequence is the culprit for Pickard's injury or if it's unrelated.

Skinner will start vs. Vegas in Game 3 on Saturday.

Skinner has not played since losing the first two games of Round 1 against the Los Angeles Kings when he allowed 11 goals on 58 combined shots (.810 SV%). The Oilers have won six straight since Calvin Pickard took over between the pipes, but they will revert to Skinner for Game 3 on Saturday against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 26-year-old Skinner appeared in 51 games during the regular season (26-18-4), posting a 2.81 GAA and .896 SV%. The Oilers enter Game 3 as -114 home favourites against a Golden Knights team desperate for a victory.

Stuart Skinner
Hellebuyck will start Game 2 against the Stars.

Hellebuyck was tagged with the loss in Game 1 on Wednesday, allowing three goals on 24 shots. The 31-year-old netminder has posted a SV% above .900 in just one of his eight starts this post-season. If the Jets are going to get passed the mighty Stars, Hellebuyck will no doubt need to regain his regular season form that saw him post a 47-12-3 record along with a .925 SV%. The Jets enter action on Friday at -135 on the money line.

Connor Hellebuyck
Bobrovsky will start Game 3 against the Maple Leafs.

Bobrovsky has uncharacteristically struggled through the opening two games of the second round as he and the Panthers find themselves in an 0-2 hole. The two-time Vezina Trophy winner allowed four goals in Game 2, stopping just 16 of the 20 shots he faced. The sportsbooks inevitably like Bob's odds of bouncing back on Friday, as the Panthers enter action at -225 on the money line.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Woll will start Game 3 in Florida.

Anthony Stolarz remains sidelined with a concussion, so the Maple Leafs will stick with Woll between the pipes for Game 3. Woll turned in a solid performance in his first start of the post-season, stopping 25 of the 28 shots he faced enroute to a 4-3 victory. The 26-year-old netminder has a strong yet limited track record in the playoffs, posting a 5-2-0 record and a .919 SV% across nine career appearances. He'll need to be at his best on Friday as the Maple Leafs enter action at +185 on the money line.

Joseph Woll
Oettinger will start Game 2 in Winnipeg.

Oettinger stopped 29 of 31 shots in the Stars' win in Game 1. Oettinger is now 5-3 with a 2.75 GAA and .914 SV% through eight postseason games. Tonight, the Stars will stick with the same lineup as Game 1, as they try to take a 2-0 series lead back to Dallas. They enter the game as +122 road underdogs.

Jake Oettinger
Morrissey (upper-body) is probable to play in Game 2 vs. Dallas.

Morrissey missed Game 1 with an upper-body injury that he suffered in Game 7 vs. The Blues. Morrissey skated in his usual spot next to Dylan DeMelo and on PP1 in the morning skate, and head coach Scott Arniel called him probable to play in Game 2.

Josh Morrissey
Pietrangelo (illness) took full part in warmups and is expected to play in Game 2 against the Oilers.

Pietrangelo has missed Vegas' previous two games with an illness but appears set to return for Game 2 vs. Edmonton. Vegas would gladly welcome back its top defender with open arms after he put up a goal and three points in six games played in the Golden Knights' opening series.

Alex Pietrangelo
Gibson will dress and serve as the Capitals backup for Game 2 against the Hurricanes.

Gibson was a late addition to the Capitals lineup in place of Charlie Lindgren, who is unavailable due to personal family reasons. Gibson is yet to appear in an NHL game and split time between South Carolina (ECHL) and Hershey (AHL) this season.

Mitchell Gibson
Jankowski (undisclosed) will not play in Game 2 in Washington.

Jankowski left Game 1 on Tuesday with an undisclosed injury after just 6:17 TOI and was a game-time decision for Game 2 in Washington on Tuesday. The 30-year-old depth center has been enjoying his time in Carolina since being acquired at the trade deadline, with eight goals and an assist in 22 games between the regular season and the playoffs.

Mark Jankowski
Thompson will start Game 2 against the Hurricanes.

Thompson nearly stole Game 1 for the Capitals, stopping 31 of the 33 shots he faced in the 2-1 overtime loss. After a breakout season in Washington, Thompson has arguably been the standout goaltender of the 2025 NHL Playoffs, posting a 4-2-0 record, a .926 SV%, and a 2.17 GAA. He'll need to be at his very best again on Thursday if he wants to guide his team to a bounce back victory in Game 2, as the Capitals enter action at +135 on the money line.
