He returns to the crease on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes. The 28-year-old Montembeault has a 2.97 GAA and .897 SV% through 43 games this season (19-21-3).

Since December 5th, Hellebuyck has lost just four games, going 19-2-2 with a 1.99 GAA, .924 SV% and three shutouts. Make sure he's in your lineup tonight, as the Jets are massive -463 home favourites vs. a Sharks team that is on the second half of a back-to-back.

The Jets opted to give Connor Hellebuyck some extra rest of the weekend, but he is expected to return to the crease on Monday, resulting in Kahkonen returning to the Manitoba Moose (AHL). The 28-year-old Kahkonen has a 3.34 GAA and .885 SV in 20 games with Manitoba this season (6-13-0).

The team has not provided concrete details on his injury aside from them expecting him back in the lineup before the conclusion of the season.

The Red Wings have recalled Sheldon Dries from Grand Rapids (AHL).

The Red Wings placed Andrew Copp (undisclosed) on Injured Reserve, resulting in the club calling up Dries from the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL). The 30-year-old Dries has 122 games of NHL experience but has exclusively played in the AHL the previous two seasons. He has 27 points (19G / 8A) in 48 games with Grand Rapids.
