The Sharks have signed C.J. Suess to a one-year contract.

The Sharks have signed Andrew Agozzino to a two-year contract.

Agozzino has bounced around the league recently, and the Sharks will be his fifth team in five years. The 31-year-old has posted great numbers at the AHL level but has never been able to stick in the NHL. He has just nine points (2G / 7A) in 47 career NHL games since 2015.

The Senators have signed Antoine Bibeau to a one-year, two-way contract.

Bibeau split his 2022 season between the AHL and ECHL, going 4-1-2 with a 2.48 GAA and .905 SV% in 10 AHL appearances with the Charlotte Checkers. He'll likely be the No.4 goalie on the Senators' depth chart.

The Senators have signed Jacob Larsson to a one-year, two-way contract.

Larsson is a former first-round pick (No.27 overall in 2015) who has 165 career NHL games under his belt, all with the Anaheim Ducks. However, he spent almost all of 2021-22 in the AHL, where he had two goals and 13 assists (15 points) in 55 games. The Senators' blueline is very thin, so Larsson could see some NHL playing time in 2022-23.

Sawchenko, who struggled in the AHL last year, got thrust into the NHL for a period of time, going 1-2-1 with a 3.35 GAA and .901 SV%. He'll be an AHL goalie for the Hurricanes but he was 4-10-0 with a 4.03 GAA and .877 SV% in that league a year ago.

He's only appeared in nine NHL games to-date but had a solid 2022 season in the AHL, scoring 15 goals with 35 assists (50 points) in 62 games with Stockton. The one-way contract suggests he could make the NHL roster to open 2022-23.

The Stars have signed Riley Barber to a one-year, two-way contract.

Barber spent the last two seasons with the Red Wings, only appearing in four NHL games. Last season he led Grand Rapids (AHL) in goals (28) and was second in points (53) in 49 games. He'll likely start 2022-23 in Texas (AHL).

Palat is a good complimentary top-6 winger that can play with either Jack Hughes or Nico Hischier in New Jersey. Over the last three seasons, he's averaged 20 goals and 35 assists (55 points) per 82 games.

The Panthers have signed Rudolfs Balcers to a one-year contract worth $750K.

Balcers was originally drafted by the Sharks in 2015 but was traded to Ottawa as a part of the Erik Karlsson deal in 2018. He found his way back to San Jose via waivers in 2021 and had a career-best 23 points (11G / 12A) in 61 games with San Jose last season. He provides the Panthers a little depth at left wing and can move up and down the lineup.

The Red Wings have signed Mark Pysyk to a one-year, $850k contract.

Pysyk spent 2022 with the Sabres, scoring three goals with nine assists (12 points) in 68 games. Detroit will be Pysyk's fourth team in four years, playing with Florida, Dallas and Buffalo previously. He's a nice depth piece, with the flexibility to play defence or the wing in a pinch.

Mark Pysyk
The Ducks have signed Ryan Strome to a five-year, $25 million contract.

Strome found a home on the Rangers' second line playing with Artemi Panarin for the last three seasons, tallying 53 goals and 109 assists (162 points) in 200 games--22 goals and 45 assists (67 points) per 82-game pace. In Anaheim he should play a similar role as the No.2 centre behind Trevor Zegras but likely will not have the star power of Panarin on his wing.
