Legault (upper-body) did not travel with Carolina after leavin Saturday vs. Toronto.

Legault appeared to suffer a laceration on his hand during a second-period scrum in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 22-year-old rookie defenseman left a trail of blood on the ice as he skated off to the dressing room. No concrete update was provided on his status, but he did not travel with the team following the game.

Zucker has missed Buffalo's last three games due to an illness and will likely miss at least three more before the team returns home from a three-game road trip. The 33-year-old Zucker is averaging 14:44 time-on-ice, recording seven points (4G / 3A), 15 hits, and 27 shots in 12 games this season.

Kulich did not play on November 8th and was placed on Injured Reserve due to an undisclosed injury, which has now been clarified as a blood clot issue. The 21-year-old Kulich will likely be sidelined for several months, but is expected to return before the end of the season. The second-year Czech forward has five points (3G / 2A) in 12 games this season.

Tomasek will be a healhty scratch vs. Columbus on Monday.

Tomasek scored 57 points (24G / 33A) in 47 games with Farjestads BK Karlstad (SweHL) last season, but his success in Sweden has not translated directly to the NHL. The 29-year-old Czech forward has just three points (1G / 2A) in 13 games this season. Curtis Lazar will draw into the lineup as Tomasek's replacement.

Janmark (undisclosed) will make his season debut vs. Columbus on Monday.

Janmark has battled an undisclosed injury since training camp and has yet to play this season, but will make his debut on Monday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 32-year-old Swedish forward has been effective in a bottom-six role for the Oilers of the previous three seasons, scoring 55 points (16G / 39A) in 217 combined games.

MacEwen played 7:12 time-on-ice in his only outing this season and has been sidelined for nearly four weeks with an undisclosed injury. The 29-year-old forward is in his first season with New Jersey. He had three points (2G / 1A) and 49 hits in 21 games with the Ottawa Senators in 2024-25.

Mittelstadt did not play on Sunday, tending to an upper-body injury, and will be sidelined week-to-week. The 26-year-old Mittelstadt was off to a decent start in Boston this season, scoring nine points (4G / 5A) in 15 games. With Elias Lindholm (lower body) also out week-to-week, expect to see an uptick in playing time and prime deployment for Pavel Zacha and Marat Khusnutdinov.
