Savard (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision in Chicago on Friday.

Savard is battling an undisclosed injury and could miss Friday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks. He only played 15:40 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights, his second-lowest ice time of the season. The 34-year-old defenseman has 10 points (1G / 9A), 90 blocks, and 31 hits in 35 games this season.

Faulk (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision vs. Ottawa on Friday.

Faulk played a season-low 16:16 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks and will be a game-time decision on Friday against the Ottawa Senators. The 32-year-old Faulk is averaging 23:27 time-on-ice and has 13 points (2G / 11A) in 37 games this season. He also been active on the Blues' second powerplay unit.

Pickering (concussion) is expected to return to Pittsburgh's lineup on Friday in Florida.

Pickering has missed the last three games due to a concussion but will re-enter the lineup on Friday against the Florida Panthers. The 20-year-old Pickering is averaging 15:47 time-on-ice, scoring two points (1G / 1A) in 14 games in his first NHL season. Ryan Shea will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Pickering's return.

Murphy (groin) is out on Friday vs. Montreal.

Murphy is battling through a groin injury, did not practice on Thursday, and will not play on Friday. The 31-year-old Murphy has been a steadying force on the blue line for the Blackhawks this season, averaging 20:33 time-on-ice and scoring 13 points (1G / 12A) in 38 games. Wyatt Kaiser will draw into the lineup as Murphy's replacement.

Demko left Thursday's game vs. Seattle with back spasms and did not return.

Head coach Rick Tocchet said that Demko had "some back spasms, so I dont think it's serious." Tocchet added that it "could be a day or two" but back spasms are unpredictable. The Canucks have another game on Friday, so expect a goalie to be recalled from the AHL to backup Kevin Lankinen.

Wedgewood left Thursday’s game vs. Buffalo with a lower-body injury.

Wedgewood was hurt after Zach Benson fell on his right leg. Wedgewood had to be helped off the ice and was reportedly wearing a boot post-game. Expect an update from the Avalanche in the coming days. But it looks like Wedgewood is going to be out indefinitely.

Keller was a late scratch on Tuesday due to an illness but will return to the lineup on Thursday against the Calgary Flames. Keller has been a point-per-game player over the past four seasons, with an impressive 262 points (111G / 151A) in 263 games. He leads Utah HC this season with 37 points (13G / 24A) in 36 games.

Jost has split time between the AHL and NHL this season, but played nine straight games for the Hurricanes before suffering an undisclosed injury on Tuesday. The 26-year-old Jost has two points (2G / 0A) in 16 games with the Hurricanes this season.

Spurgeon was the unlikely recipient of a Zachary L'Heureux slew-foot in Minnesota's previous game and is considered week-to-week with a lower-body injury. The injury is not as bad as originally expected according to Minnesota's training staff but the team will still be missing their captain mightily, who had four goals, 13 points and 59 SOG while averaging 20:43 TOI in 32 games played this season.

Barbashev has not played since December 15th, missing six games with an upper-body injury. The 29-year-old Barbashev was enjoying a tremendous season before his injury, on pace for career-best offensive totals, scoring 30 points (15G / 15A) in 31 games. Previously, his career-best season was in 2021-21 when he scored 60 points (26G / 34A) in 81 games with the St. Louis Blues.

Vlasic (back) will make his season debut vs. Tampa Bay on Thursday.

Vlasic has missed all 40 games to start the season due to a back injury but will finally debut on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 37-year-old stay-at-home defenseman is entering his 19th NHL season (all with San Jose) after putting up six goals, 12 points and a -27 plus/minus in 57 games played in 2023-24.
