Moser only played 12:23 time-on-ice before exiting last Friday's game with an undisclosed injury and subsequently missed the following two games before being ruled out for the next 8-10 weeks. The 24-year-old Moser has been productive from the blueline for Tampa Bay this season, averaging 19:54 time-on-ice and recording 10 points (2G / 8A) and a 13 plus/minus rating in 27 games.

Barbashev was limited to only 5:00 time-on-ice before exiting Sunday's 3-2 win over the Minnesota Wild with an upper-body injury in the first period. The 29-year-old Barbashev is enjoying a tremendous season, on pace for career-best offensive totals, scoring 30 points (15G / 15A) in 31 games. Previously, his career-best season was in 2021-21 when he scored 60 points (26G / 34A) in 81 games with the St. Louis Blues. Nicolas Roy (upper body) will also be out of the lineup as Cole Schwindt and Tanner Laczynski will draw in as their replacements.

Roy is battling an upper-body injury and will not play on Thursday against the Vancouver Canucks. The 27-year-old Roy has 13 points (6G / 7A) in 31 games this season. Ivan Barbashev (upper body) will also be out of the lineup as Cole Schwindt and Tanner Laczynski will draw in as their replacements.

Cirelli is battling an undisclosed injury that has kept him from practicing the last two days and could miss Thursday's contest against the St. Louis Blues. The 27-year-old Cirelli is averaging a career-high 18:33 time-on-ice and is enjoying the best offensive output of his career with 27 points (12G / 15A) in 28 games.

The struggling Rangers have been without Panarin for two straight games (0-2-0) and his status remains up in the air ahead of Friday's game against the Dallas Stars. The Rangers are 3-8-0 in their last 11 games and can ill-afford to be without Panarin's team-leading 36 points (15G / 21A) in 29 games.

Arvidsson has not played since November 12th, missing 15 games with undisclosed injury, but will return to the lineup on Thursday against the Boston Bruins. The 31-year-old Arvidsson has five points (2G / 3A) in 16 games this season. He will play on the third line alongside Adam Henrique and Connor Brown.

Josi has not played since December 10th and will miss at least one more game after being ruled out of Thursday's contest against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 34-year-old Josi has 23 points (7G / 16A) in 29 games this season. His next chance to return to action will be on Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings.

McLeod is battling an undisclosed injury and could miss his first game of the season on Friday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 25-year-old McLeod has 15 points (6G / 9A) in 32 games this season while averaging 15:39 time-on-ice.

Greenway has been a game-time decision each game since returning from an injury earlier this month and will finally be shut down long-term after underdoing surgery to address his injury. The 27-year-old Greenway is averaging 15:55 time-on-ice, recording seven points (3G / 4A) and 54 hits in 20 games this season.

The Sabres have lost 11 straight (0-8-3), and are 0-5-2 since Dahlin has been out of the lineup. The struggling Sabres will be desperate to get their elite defenseman back into the lineup as they try to right the ship. The 24-year-old is averaging 24:42 and has 19 points (6G / 13A) in 25 games this season.

Lazar returned from a 21-game absence due to a knee injury on Tuesday and played 11:41 time-on-ice but will be sidelined again for at least a week. The 29-year-old Lazar, in his second season with the Devils, was a lineup regular before the injury, registering two points (1G / 1A) and a monstrous 36 hits in his first 12 games.

Duclair has not played since suffering a lower-body injury in mid-October but could return to the lineup on Saturday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 30-year-old Duclair was signed in the offseason to add an offensive punch to a typically low-scoring Islanders club and was off to a solid start, with three points (2G / 1A) in five games.

Marcus Hodberg has served as the backup to Ilya Sorokin the last several games, a trend that will continue until the new year as Varlamov will not be eligible to return until, at earliest, January 5th against the Boston Bruins. The 36-year-old Varlamov owns a 3-4-3 record and an .889 SV% in ten games this season.

The Sabres have lost 11 straight (0-8-3), and are 0-5-2 since Dahlin has been out of the lineup. The struggling Sabres will be desperate to get their elite defenseman back into the lineup as they try to right the ship. The 24-year-old is averaging 24:42 and has 19 points (6G / 13A) in 25 games this season.

Faber left Wednesday's 6-1 loss to the Florida Panthers late in the third period but should be ready to play on Friday against the Utah Hockey Club. The 22-year-old Faber has 17 points (3G / 14A) in 32 games this season and is amongst league leaders in ice-time, averaging 25:10 time-on-ice.

Mrazek has not played since December 7th but will rejoin the team on Thursday against the Seattle Kraken and is expected to back up Arvid Soderblom. In a corresponding move, Drew Commesso has been reassigned to Rockford (AHL).

Gustafsson has not played since suffering the injury on December 10th and is officially still in concussion protocol. He has appeared in just three games this season and is yet to register a point.

Ehlers just returned to skating on Friday so this was a bit of a surprise activation from the Jets. Ehlers has not played since suffering the injury on November 29th. His return is a big boost to the Jets lineup as he's been able to rack up nine goals and 16 assists in just 24 games this season.

Barkov was a late scratch on Saturday due to an illness, and missed a second straight game on Monday. The Panthers will be without Sam Bennett (illness) on Wednesday so Barkov's return could not come at a better time. He has 29 points (9G / 20A) in 22 games this season.

Edvinsson suffered the injury in the first period of Wednesday's game and was unable to return. We should receive an update on his status ahead of Detroit's game against the Habs on Friday.
