Mukhamadullin will make his NHL debut Saturday vs. Buffalo.

Mukhamadullin was a key piece in the trade that sent Timo Meier to New Jersey and will make his NHL debut Saturday vs. Buffalo. The 22-year-old Russian defensemen was the 20th overall pick in the 2020 NHL draft and has excelled with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) this season, with 26 points (5G/21A) in 39 games played.

Perry is expected to make his Oilers' debut Saturday vs. Nashville.

Perry hasn't played a game since his contract was terminated by the Chicago Blackhawks in late November. Before having his contract terminated, Perry was amid a somewhat resurgent start to the season, scoring nine points (4G / 5A) in 16 games. It is unlikely that Perry will continue his 0.56 point-per-game pace with the Oilers, as he is expected to skate on the third line with Dylan Holloway and Ryan McLeod.

Malinski is expected to be a healthy scratch Friday vs. Los Angeles.

Malinski has played in eight straight games and has scored four points (1G / 3A) in his last four, but will be a healthy scratch on Friday to allow Jack Johnson to draw back into the lineup. Malinski has been effective in limited time this season, scoring 10 points (3G / 7A) in 22 games while averaging only 14:19 time-on-ice.

Bertuzzi (personal) missed the Maple Leafs' previous game due to the birth of his baby but was back at practice Friday.

Bertuzzi will likely return to the Maple Leafs' lineup on Saturday against the Winnipeg Jets after missing the previous contest to attend to the birth of his child. Bertuzzi had one point in his previous contest to snap a three-game pointless skid.
