Hanifin is expected to make his Vegas debut on Thursday vs. Vancouver.

The Golden Knights gave up a conditional 2025 first-round pick, a conditional third-round pick, a 2024 fifth-round pick and Daniil Miromanov to acquire Hanifin on Wednesday. The Flames retained 50 percent of Hanifin's contract and the Flyers retained 25 percent as a third-party broker. At 25 percent, Hanifin will carry a $1.2375M AAV cap-hit. The 27-year-old defenseman heads to Vegas with 11 goals and 24 assists (35 points) in 61 games this season.

Walker is expected to make his Avalanche' debut on Friday vs. Minnesota.

Trade rumours circulating Walker for the last few weeks finally materialized on Wednesday in a trade sending him to Colorado. The 29-year-old Walker, in his first season with the Philadelphia Flyers, tallied 22 points (6G / 16A), 109 shots, 81 hits, and 98 blocks in 68 games.

Mittelstadt is expected to make his Avalanche debut on Friday vs. Minnesota.

After trading Ryan Johansen to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Avalanche filled their center-ice gap by acquiring Mittelstadt from the Buffalo Sabres. The 25-year-old Mittelstadt was enjoying his best season with the Sabres, with 47 points (14G / 33A) in 62 games.

Kaliyev will draw back into the Kings' lineup on Thursday vs. Ottawa.

Kaliyev has not played since February 27th, missing three games, but will re-enter the lineup on Thursday against the Ottawa Senators. Kaliyev has been in and out of the lineup for the last several months as a result of inconsistent play. He has zero points in his last 16 games.

Beckman is expected to draw back into Minnesota's lineup on Thursday in Arizona.

With Marcus Johansson being placed on IR due to a lower-body injury, Beckman has been recalled from Iowa (AHL) and is expected to draw into the lineup on Thursday. Beckman was Minnesota's 75th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft but has been limited to only 12 career NHL games. In 48 games with the Iowa Wild, Beckman has 29 points (16G / 13A).

Bordealeau will draw back into the Sharks' lineup on Thursday vs. the Islanders.

Bordeleau was called up on Wednesday in correspondence to Ty Emberson (lower-body) being placed on injured reserve. The 22-year-old Bordeleau played six games with the Sharks earlier this season but has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with the Barracuda (AHL), tallying 25 points (11G / 14A) in 35 games.

Zucker (trade related) will be a healthy scratch on Thursday as Arizona continues to look for trade suitors.

Zucker and Matthew Dumba will both be held out of the Coyotes' lineup in anticipation of a deal before Friday's trade deadline. Zucker has 24 points (9G / 16A), 104 shots, and 74 hits in 51 games this season.

The Blue Jackets opted for an 11-forward, seven-defensemen formation on Tuesday but will return to the traditional formation on Thursday as Bean will be a healthy scratch, allowing Kiril Marchenko to draw back into the lineup. Bean played 13:26 time-on-ice on Tuesday, tallying one assist.

Pascal Vincent and the Blue Jackets coaching staff opted to go with an 11-forward, seven-defenseman formation on Tuesday, but Marchenko will draw back into the lineup on Thursday in favour of Jake Bean. Marchenko tallied an assist and one shot on goal in his last outing, Monday's 6-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights.

Adam Henrique's name has circulated trade rumours, finally being materialized on Wednesday in a trade to the Edmonton Oilers. Henrique is pacing for the best offensive season of his career, already with 42 points (18G / 24A) in 60 games, just nine points less than his 51-point career high set in the 2011-12 season with the New Jersey Devils.
