The Maple Leafs have recalled Alex Biega from Toronto (AHL).

Biega is a 33-year-old veteran defenseman with 241 career NHL games under his belt. However, he was one of two defensemen that was recalled from the Marlies and it looks like he'll be the extra vs. the Blue Jackets.

Rubīns has been recalled from Toronto (AHL) and is expected to make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Rubīns has one goal and three assists (four points) in 16 games with the Marlies this season. the 6-foot-5, 221 lbs. defenseman will replace Rasmus Sandin, who went on IR with a lower-body injury.

The Predators have recalled Matt Luff from Milwaukee (AHL).

Luff spent the first few years of his career in the Kings organization but signed with the Predators this offseason. Luff has scored even goals with nine assists (16 points) in 200 AHL games with Milwaukee this season. He has 10 goals and seven assists (17 points) in 64 career NHL games.

The Sabres have recalled Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen from Rochester (AHL).

Malcolm Subban was hurt in his Sabres debut on Saturday, so Luukkonen gets recalled and could be in line for his first start of the season on Tuesday. The 22-year-old netminder has gone 6-6-0 with a 3.42 GAA and .888 SV% in 12 AHL games this season.

The Ducks have recalled Bo Groulx from San Diego (AHL).

Groulx will join the Ducks on their road trip this week because both Ryan Getzlaf (IR) and Adam Henrique (DTD) were hurt last week. Groulx has spent most of his time this season with the Ducks, scoring one goal with two assists in 16 games. While in the AHL, he's tallied just one assist in five games.

The Bruins have recalled Oskar Steen from Providence (AHL).

The Bruins were finally given the green light to call-up players from Providence after a COVID-19 breakout. Steen has two assists in two games with the Bruins and 13 points (6G / 7 A) in 12 games with Providence this season.
