The Coyotes have acquired Curtis Douglas from the Maple Leafs for Conor Timmins.

Douglas is best known for his massive 6'9" frame and will head to Arizona with hopes of making the Coyotes' roster at some point this season. In 13 games with the Toronto Marlies (AHL) he had one assist and 30 PIMs with a -2 rating. He was dealt for defensemen Conor Timmins Wednesday.

The Maple Leafs have acquired Conor Timmins from the Coyotes for Curtis Douglas.

Timmins heads to the injured Maple Leads after putting up three assists and 12 PIMs in six games with the Tucson Roadrunners in Arizona's farm system. The 24-year-old was traded for Curtis Douglas and will hope to add to his 41 career NHL games he has amassed over four injured riddled seasons.

Conor Timmins
Lane Pederson was traded to the Vancouver Canucks Friday

Pederson was dealt along with Ethan Bear for a 2023 5th-round pick. Pederson never got to play an NHL game for the Carolina Hurricanes before being health but has enjoyed two seasons prior with the Sharks and Coyotes. In 44 career games, he has one goal and four assists while posting a -18 plus/minus.

The Blackhawks have acquired Cooper Zech from the Flyers for Evan Barratt.

Zech was an undrafted free agent who turned pro and joined the NHL in 2019 after one year at Ferris State University. After three years in the Bruins organization, he had one goal and 10 assists (11 points) in 53 games with Lehigh Valley (AHL) last year. He'll likely report to Rockford (AHL).

The Flyers have acquired Evan Barratt from the Blackhawks for Cooper Zech.

Barratt was a third-round pick (No.90 overall) in 2017 and has yet to appear in an NHL game. He spent last year with Rockford (AHL), collecting 14 goals and 14 assists (28 points) in 63 games. The Bristol, PA native will report to Lehigh Valley (AHL).

The Oilers have acquired Klim Kostin from the Blues for Dmitri Samorukov.

Kostin was a first-round pick (No.31 overall) in 2017 and cleared waivers on Friday. The 23-year-old forward split the 2022 season between the NHL and AHL. He had nine points (4G / 5A) in 40 games with the Blues. He'll report to Bakersfield (AHL) to start the 2023 season.

The Blackhawks acquired Jason Dickinson and a 2024 second-round pick from the Canucks for Riley Stillman.

Dickinson, who had 11 points (5G / 6A) in 62 games with the Canucks last season, was going to be at the bottom of the Canucks lineup heading into 2022-23. With Tyler Myers banged up, the Canucks seemed to think they needed defensive depth more than the bottom-6 forward.

The Canucks acquired Riley Stillman from the Blackhawks for Jason Dickinson and a 2024 second-round pick.

Stillman appeared in 52 games with the Blackhawks in 2022, scoring two goals with 10 assists (12 points), while delivering 122 hits and blocking 67 shots. Stillman is likely insurance for Tyler Myers, who suffered a lower-body injury this week.

The Stars acquired Nils Lundkvist from the Rangers for a 2023 conditional first-round pick and a 2025 conditional fourth-round pick.

Lundkvist was selected No.28 overall in the 2018 NHL draft and registered four points (1G / 3A) in 25 NHL games with the Rangers last season. He spent most of the season in the AHL, posting 15 points (3G / 12A) in 34 games. Lundkvist will battle with Thomas Harley and Colin Miller for playing time in Dallas and could be a future D-partner of Miro Heiskanen.
