Haula performed admirably in his third-line role for the Hurricanes after being acquired from Vegas in the off-season. Injuries limited him to just 41 games in a Carolina uniform, but he was able to register 12 goals and 10 assists while playing less than 16 minutes a night. He should play more of a top-six role now with the Panthers. Haula is set to become an unrestricted free-agent on July 1.

Bernier has gone 1-4-0 with a 3.29 GAA and .895 SV% in his last six games (five starts) and draws a tough assignment tonight with the Flames in town. They may be just 4-3-0 in their last seven but Calgary has averaged 4.86 goals per game in that span.

Markstrom allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Canucks win over the Predators on Monday. It was a terrific performance that snapped a three-game losing streak for Markstrom. He comes in at 1-1-0 while surrendering eight goals on 68 shots (.882 SV%) in two games vs. the Blackhawks this season.
