Markstrom will start vs. Calgary on Thursday.

The Devils have been liberal with their goalie rotation lately, regularly alternating starts, with Jake Allen outplaying Jacob Markstrom. Still, Markstrom will tend the twine on Thursday against his former club, the Calgary Flames. The 35-year-old Markstrom has allowed six goals in two of his last three outings (1-2-0), posting an ugly .805 SV%. He has a 2.45 GAA and .902 SV% in 41 games this season (22-13-5).

Dadonov was limited to 9:57 time-on-ice in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, well below his 13:50 average this season, recording a -2 plus/minus, and will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks. The 36-year-old Dadonov has been productive from a bottom-six role for the Stars lately, scoring 13 points (4G / 9A) in his last 19 games. Colin Blackwell will draw into the lineup as Dadonov's replacement.

Hamilton had 40 points (9G / 31A) in 63 games, including 15 points on the powerplay. Luke Hughes has stepped in as their quarterback on the Devils' top powerplay unit in Hamilton's absence.
