Cale Fleury will make his season debut in the Seattle lineup Friday vs. Minnesota.

Fleury will be back in the lineup to replace an injured Jamie Oleksiak who will be out for Friday's game. It will be Fleury's season debut with the Kraken after he place nine games with them last season. In 50 career games, Fleury has yet to pick up his first career assist, but has one goal and is a -7 plus/minus with 49 SOG.

The Kraken placed Jamie Oleksiak (lower-body) on IR.

Oleksiak's movement to IR was retroactive to November 8th, meaning he'll be eligible to be activated for next Thursday's game vs. the Rangers. The Kraken did not disclose how long they expect him to be sidelined but used his roster spot to recall Gustav Olofsson from the AHL.

Jared McCann is day-to-day but a game-time decision Tuesday (lower body).

McCann has missed the Krakens last two games with a lower-body injury and hopes to return Tuesday after skating at practice earlier in the day. In 11 games this season, the 26-year-old has five goals and eight points through 11 games played.

Matt Murray is to participate in his first full practice Wednesday (lower body)

Murray has been out since mid-October due to a lower-body injury sustained in practice. The 28-year-old was hoping for a career resurgent season after being acquired by Toronto in the offseason but struggled in his only start allowing four goals on 23 shots (.826 SV%) in a loss to Montreal.

Daccord will start Tuesday in Calgary.

Daccord will make his first start of the season for Seattle after posting an ugly .850 SV% and 4.30 GAA with the Kraken last year. The 26-year-old even struggled prior to his call-up, posting a .880 SV% and 3.36 GAA for Coachella (AHL). He should face a ton of rubber as he takes on a Flames team that ranks third in the NHL in SOG per game with 37.4.

Seattle Kraken have placed goaltender Philipp Grubauer on injured reserve (lower-body)

Philipp Grubauer's nightmarish season continued Tuesday as the Seattle Kraken placed him on injured reserve with a lower-body injury. There is no timetable for the 30-year-old netminder's return. He was struggling prior to the injury, losing both his starts while posting a .860 SV% and 3.77 GAA. Joey Daccord was recalled from the AHL in a corresponding move.

Grubauer will start Friday in Colorado.

Grubauer will be looking for his first win of the 2022-23 season after dropping his last outing 5-1 to Carolina in a 29-save losing effort. He has struggled yet again after a rough first season in Seattle, as he currently is sporting a .851 SV% and 4.26 GAA in two starts on the year. He faces a very high-scoring Colorado team (4.25 GF) that is coming off a 4-3 overtime loss to Winnipeg its last time out.

Montour (upper-body) will return to the Panthers lineup on Friday.

Montour missed the last two games but will play Friday vs. the Lightning. With Aaron Ekblad out, Montour figures to be the PP1 quarterback for the Panthers moving forward. He may also play massive minutes at 5v5 next to Gustav Forsling. He had one goal and four shots in two games to open the season.

Brandon Montour
Montour (upper-body) will not play Wednesday vs. The Flyers.

Brandon Montour is set to miss his second game of the early season Wednesday as it was announced he will miss Florida's matchup against Philadelphia with a lower-body injury. This comes as a blow to the blueline as the Panthers just lost Aaron Ekblad for 4-6 Weeks. Montour has a goal on four shots in his first two games in his second season as a member of the Florida Panthers.

The Avalanche have assigned Ben Meyers to Colorado (AHL).

Meyers scored one goal on two shots while playing just 7:53 ATOI in Colorado's first three games of the season. He'll go to the AHL to give Martin Kaut another shot after Kaut picked up three points (2G / 1A) in his first two AHL games.
