Couture has retired from professional hockey after 15 NHL seasons.

Couture was limited to only six games last season, unable to make a return this season, and has announced his retirement as a result of ongoing injuries. The 36-year-old Couture caps a wonderful 15-year career with 701 points (323G / 373A) in 933 games, all with the San Jose Sharks.

Crevier will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Kevin Korchinski will draw back into Chicago's lineup on Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators, sending Crevier to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 23-year-old Crevier ends the 2024-25 season averaging 17:17 time-on-ice, recording four points (3G / 1A) in 32 games.

The Blackhawks enter their final game of the season on Tuesday against the Ottawa Senator, with Knight tending the twine. Knight played well in his most recent outing despite allowing four goals, saving 37 shots (.902 SV%) in a 5-4 shootout loss to the Winnipeg Jets. The 23-year-old netminder has a 3.20 GAA and .891 SV% in 14 games with the Blackhawks this season (4-8-2). The Blackhawks enter Tuesday's contest as +235 road underdogs against the Senators.

Anaheim has signed Konnor Smith to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Smith was a fourth-round pick, 97th overall, of the Anaheim Ducks in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year-old defenseman just completed his fourth season in the OHL, scoring 26 points (10G / 16A) in 40 combined games between the Owen Sound Attack and the Brampton Steelheads.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Kings will turn to Rittich between the pipes on Tuesday against the Seattle Kraken. With yesterday's game out of hand, Rittich replaced Darcy Kuemper between the pipes in the Kings' 5-0 win over the Edmonton Oilers, saving all five shots he faced in the third period. The 32-year-old Rittich has a 2.69 GAA and .890 SV% in 32 games this season (15-13-2). The Kings enter Tuesday's contest as -110 road favorites against the Kraken.

Sandin-Pellikka has been reassigned to Grand Rapids (AHL) from Skelleftea (SHL).

Sandin-Pellika was Detroit's 17th overall pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. The highly-regarded prospect has been reassigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) and will make his professional North American debut. The 20-year-old defenseman scored 29 points (12G / 17A) in 46 games with Skelleftea AIK (SweHL) this season.

Entering their second-last game of the regular season, the Golden Knights will rest several key players on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames, including netminder Adin Hill. The 28-year-old Hill will likely be between the pipes for the Golden Knights' first game of the playoffs. He has a 2.47 GAA and .906 SV% in 50 games this season (32-13-5).
