Stone (rest) will be out vs. Calgary on Tuesday.

Entering their second-last game of the regular season, the Golden Knights will rest several key players on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames, including Mark Stone. After battling injuries the previous few seasons, Stone has appeared in 66 games this season, his highest total since the 2018-19 campaign, scoring 67 points (19G / 48A).

Ottavainen was Seattle's fourth-round pick, 99th overall, in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old defenseman has yet to play an NHL game. He has 15 points (3G / 12A) in 66 games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) this season.

Philadelphia has signed Devin Kaplan to an NHL Entry-Level contract.

Kaplan was a third-round pick, 69th overall, of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The 21-year-old forward spent the previous three seasons playing collegiate hockey for Boston University (H-East) and scored 18 points (10G / 8A) through 38 games in 2024-25.

Daccord was the first goalie off the ice at Seattle's morning skate.

Seattle is coming off a 4-3 shootout win over the St. Louis Blues and will try to end the 2024-25 season on a positive note, likely turning to Daccord between the pipes on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings. The 28-year-old Daccord was solid in his most recent outing but did not receive ample goal support, saving 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) in a 2-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. He has a 2.69 GAA and .908 SV% in 56 games this season (27-22-5). Seattle enters Tuesday's contest as +102 home underdogs against a Los Angeles team that defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-0 last night.

The 31-year-old goalie has an uninspiring 2.95 GAA and .880 SV% in four April games (2-1-1).
