Cagnoni was a fourth-round pick of the Sharks in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year-old defenseman has yet to play an NHL game but has impressed in his first professional season, scoring 47 points (13G / 34A) in 56 games with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL).
