Husso compiled a 36-32-11 record and an .892 SV% across parts of three seasons in Detroit, and was ultimately the odd-man out in a Red Wings crease that includes Cam Talbot and Alex Lyon. He provides organizational depth at the position for the Ducks, who are currently without the services of John Gibson (upper-body).

Sourdif was a third-round pick, 87th overall, of the Panthers in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old has yet to play an NHL game this season after making his debut in 2023-24, playing three games with the Panthers. He has 22 points (11G / 11A) in 29 games with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) this season.
