Edmundson (upper-body) will not play in Winnipeg on Friday.

Edmundson did not play the previous game for Los Angeles but appears to be nearing a return as he was a game-time decision on Friday against the Winnipeg Jets. The 31-year-old defenseman is averaging 20:39 time-on-ice, recording 10 points (4G / 6A), 57 blocks, and 60 hits in 36 games this season.

The Kings, riding a four-game winning streak, have not played since January 4th, a result of a home game canceled earlier this week. Kuemper will return to the crease on Friday against the Winnipeg Jets, looking to improve on a stellar first season with the Kings, posting a 2.22 GAA and .918 SV% in 19 appearances (11-2-5). The 34-year-old netminder has been excellent lately, helping his team collect at least a point in nine straight outings (7-0-2) while posting a superb .937 SV%. The Jets activated Samberg (lower-body) from injured reserve on Friday.

Dylan Coghlan will be a healthy scratch on Friday against the Los Angeles Kings, allowing Samberg to return from a lower-body injury. The 25-year-old Samberg has not played since November 23rd. He was averaging 20:17 time-on-ice and had six points (3G / 3A) in 21 games before his injury.

Demko will make his eighth start of the season when the Canucks travel to Carolina to take on the Hurricanes on Friday. It's Demko's first appearance since exiting early due to back spasms in Vancouver's 4-3 shootout victory over the Kraken on January 2nd. The Canucks franchise netminder has struggled between injuries this season, registering a 2-1-3 record and an .881 SV% on the year. He'll need to be at his best on Friday as he faces a Hurricanes team that's fresh off a decisive 6-3 victory over the Maple Leafs on Thursday.

Tokarski will start vs. Vancouver on Friday.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Canucks will turn to Tokarski between the pipes on Friday against the Vancouver Canucks. The 35-year-old Tokarski allowed three goals on 19 shots (.842 SV%) but was strong enough to secure a 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. He has a 2.49 GAA and .894 SV% in four games this season (3-1-0). The Hurricanes enter Friday's contest as -177 home favorites against a Canucks squad that will likely welcome Elias Pettersson (undisclosed) back into the lineup.

Dellandrea has not played since December 31st but will re-enter the lineup on Friday against the Utah Hockey Club, replacing an injured Nikolai Kovalenko (upper body). The 24-year-old Dellandrea is averaging 11:48 time-on-ice, recording four points (1G / 3A), 25 blocks, and 80 hits in 33 games this season.

Ceci (undisclosed) will play on Friday in Utah after missing San Jose's last two practices.

Ceci played 19:19 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights but was not able to practice on Wednesday due to an undisclosed ailment. The 31-year-old Ceci has 11 points (3G / 8A), 76 blocks, and 45 hits in 43 games this season.
