Wedgewood is expected to start vs. New Jersey on Tuesday.

After an incredible start to the season, filling in for an injured Mackenzie Blackwood (lower body) as Colorado's de facto starting netminder, Wedgewood's play has fallen off lately. The 33-year-old Wedgewood is sporting a solid 2.42 GAA and .904 SV% in nine games (5-1-2), but has lost three straight (0-1-2), allowing 11 goals on 52 combined shots (.825 SV%). Colorado will be put to the test on Tuesday, entering their game as -159 home favorites against a New Jersey Devils team leading the league with an 8-1-0 record.

The Stars enter Tuesday's contest as -126 home favorites against a Capitals team leading the league defensively with only 21 goals allowed (2.33 GA / GP).

Gustavsson will start vs. Winnipeg on Tuesday.

After starting their season with a dominant 5-0 over the St. Louis Blues, Minnesota has been outscored 24-39 in their following nine games (2-5-2). Gustavsson had an excellent 2024-25 season, but has struggled to start this 2025-26 season. The 27-year-old goalie returns to the crease Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets and hopes to improve on his 3.34 GAA and .897 SV% through seven games (2-5-0). Stolarz is in the starter's crease at Toronto's morning skate.

Toronto has had an inconsistent 4-4-1 start to the 2025-26 season and hopes to start a winning streak on Tuesday, turning to Stolarz between the pipes against the Calgary Flames. The 31-year-old Stolarz has battled through his own adversity this season, posting a 3.31 GAA and .885 SV% in seven games (2-4-1), a far cry from the elite numbers he posted a season ago. Knight is in the starter's crease at Chicago's morning skate.

After ending the 2024-25 season with the second-worst record in the Western Conference, the Blackhawks are off to a pleasant 4-3-2 start to the 2025-26 season. Part of the success can be attributed to Spencer Knight's tremendous goaltending. The 24-year-old Knight is boasting an outstanding 1.97 GAA and .937 SV% through six games this season (3-2-1). The Blackhawks enter Tuesday's contest as +122 home underdogs against an Ottawa Senators team that blew up offensively last night, defeating the Boston Bruins 7-2.

Saros is in the starter's net at Nashville's morning skate.

The Predators are off to a 4-2-0 start to the 2025-26 season and will likely turn to Saros between the pipes on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Despite the team's unspectacular start to the season, they have received adequate goaltending from Saros, who is coming off a poor 2024-25 season. The 30-year-old goalie has a 2.68 GAA and .909 SV% in eight games this season (4-2-2). Still, Nashville enters Tuesday's game as +138 home underdogs against a Tampa Bay team seemingly turning a corner, having won two straight after losing six of its first seven (1-4-2).

Wood (upper-body) will return to Columbus' lineup on Tuesday in Buffalo.

Wood suffered a scary injury in the Blue Jackets third game of the season, exiting early after an errant stick caught him directly in his eye. Despite the scary scene, Wood avoided a significant injury and will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Buffalo Sabres. Zach Aston-Reese will serve as a healthy scratch to accommodate Wood's return.

Miles Wood
Greaves will start in Buffalo on Tuesday.

The Blue Jackets have had an up-and-down start to the season with a 4-4-0 record, but have benefited from some solid goaltending in the process. The 24-year-old Greaves has been unable to replicate the elite 1.91 GAA and .938 SV% he had in 11 games with the Blue Jackets last season (7-2-2), but has remained serviceable when called upon, posting a 2.79 GAA and .903 SV% in four games (1-3-0). The Blue Jackets enter Tuesday's contest as +107 road underdogs against a Sabres team that is clicking offensively, outscoring their opposition 25-17 in their last six games (4-1-1).

Calle Jarnkrok
Kesselring will make his Sabres' debut vs. Columbus on Tuesday.

Kesselring left the Sabres' preseason game on October 1st after aggravating an injury that he'd been dealing with throughout camp and has been sidelined since. The 25-year-old Kesselring was acquired with Josh Doan in a trade that sent JJ Peterka to the Utah Mammoth in the offseason. Kesslering has the potential to be a top-four defenseman as shown by his seven goals, 29 points, 89 PIMs and 150 SOG in 82 GP with Utah in 2024-25. He makes his Sabres debut on Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Michael Kesselring
Korpisalo will start vs. the Islanders on Tuesday.

The Bruins were embarrassed in a 7-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators last night and will try to rebound on Tuesday, turning to Korpisalo in net against the New York Islanders. The 31-year-old Korpisalo salvaged a victory in his first game of the season but has otherwise performed poorly, posting an ugly 4.03 GAA and .845 SV% in four games (1-3-0). The 4-7-0 Bruins will be desperate to return to the win column on Tuesday, entering the game as +128 home underdogs against a red-hot Islanders team with points in five straight (4-0-1).

Joonas Korpisalo
Lyon is in the starter's crease at Buffalo's morning skate.

After a dreadful 0-3-0 start to the season, the Sabres have rebounded, improving their record to 4-4-1 through nine games. The 32-year-old Lyon is boasting a solid 2.61 GAA and .922 SV% through seven games (3-4-0), keeping his team within reach of most contests. The Sabres enter Tuesday's contest as -116 home favorites against a Columbus Blue Jackets team with wins in three of their last four (3-1-0).

Alex Lyon
