The #GoBolts have signed Brian Elliott to a one-year contract extension worth $900K.

In his first season with the Lightning, Elliott has gone 9-3-3 with a 2.23 GAA and .921 SV% in 16 games (14 starts). The 37-year-old has been terrific in a limited role behind Andrei Vasilevskiy and the Lightning need as many cheap options as they can find.

The Blackhawks have signed Reese Johnson to a two-year, $1.6 million contract extension (800K AAV)

Johnson has split the 2021-22 season between the AHL and NHL, scoring one goal with five assists (six points) in 29 games with the Blackhawks. The deal is one-way, so it seems like Johnson will be with the Blackhawks to start the 2022-23 season.

He's spent the last five years in the KHL, most recently with Sochi H, where he was 13-20-4 with a 2.42 GAA and .917 SV% in 2022.
