Borgen did not practice on Wednesday due to a lower-body injury.

Borgen showed no signs of an injury in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Edmonton Oilers, playing a season-high 20:32 time-on-ice, but did not participate in practice on Wednesday. The Rangers recalled defenseman Scott Morrow from the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL) in a corresponding move.

Trocheck has been placed on LTIR with an upper-body injury.

Trocheck suffered an upper-body injury in the Rangers' second game of the season. He was given a week-to-week return timeline and will officially be out of the lineup for at least a month after being placed on Long-Term Injured Reserve. The 32-year-old Trocheck scored 59 points (26G / 33A) in 82 games last season. His offensive prowess will be greatly missed on a Rangers team that has already been shut out in three of its first five games (2-3-0).

Benson has not played in Buffalo's first three games due to an upper-body injury but will draw into the lineup in Wednesday's contest against the Ottawa Senators. The 20-year-old Benson scored 28 points (10G / 18A) in 75 games last season.

Raymond exited Monday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after only 7:58 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury. He skated at practice on Wednesday but did not participate in team drills, and it's unclear when he may return to the lineup. The 23-year-old Raymond was off to a strong start to the season, with three points (2G / 1A) in three games. Elmer Soderblom will draw into Detroit's lineup on Wednesday as Raymond's replacement.

Blackwood (lower-body) is making a plan to return after Colorado's road trip next week.

Scott Wedgewood has started Colorado's first four games of the 2025-26 season, but Blackwood appears to be nearing a return from a lower-body injury after being sent to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) on a conditioning Loan on Monday. Wedgewood has played well to start the season, but the team will be eager to have the services of Blackwood back in their lineup after posting a 22-12-3 record last season, alongside a 2.33 GAA and .913 SV% last season after being acquired from San Jose.

Duchene was on the receiving end of a hit from Minnesota's Jacob Middleton that made contact with his head. The 34-year-old Duchene was shaken up on the play but skated off the ice under his power, although he was not able to return to the game. Duchene has two points (1G / 1A) in three games this season and will create a sizable void in the Stars' top-six if he misses any time.

Walman signed a seven-year contract worth $7 million AAV at the beginning of October but has not played a game yet in the 2025-26 season. He is hopeful to debut on Thursday against the New York Islanders. The 29-year-old Walman had a goal, eight points and a +5 plus/minus in 15 games with the Oilers last season after being acquired at the Trade Deadline from San Jose.

Tkachuk is expected to be out for at least four weeks wth a hand injury.

Tkachuk exited Monday's game against the Nashville Predators after only 13:53 time-on-ice. Ottawa's head coach, Travis Green, said the team and doctors are trying to determine if Tkachuk will need surgery to address the injury. The 26-year-old Tkachuk scored points (0G / 3A) through three games this season.

Regula (undisclosed) will be out on Tuesday in New York and is hopeful to return by the weekend.

Regula is battling an undisclosed injury and will not play on Tuesday against the New York Rangers. The 25-year-old Regula has zero points and is averaging 15:54 time-on-ice through two games this season. Troy Stecher will draw into the lineup as Regula's replacement.
